“Two nights in a row of disturbed sleep? Not returning there.”

Ice cream at check in was a pleasant surprise! But the a/c in the hallways didn't seem to work at all. And the floor in our room felt surprisingly damp and dirty. Expedia had listed this property as having cooking facilities in the rooms, but the front desk staff was kind and courteous about the state of things and that it was an expedia listing issue. At about 11:30pm, the fire alarm went off, but our kids happily (?) slept through the whole thing. I'd just gotten dressed to go out when it shut off. But then a little while later when our 4 year old got up to go to the bathroom, I discovered that the rug by the door was soaked - the hallway was flooded! The front desk was quick to send up the key to a new room and a luggage cart on request, but it was still a bother to move all of our stuff plus three sleeping children to the new room on a different floor. At least the rug in the new room felt clean. ;) Breakfast was amazing, and the high point of our stay, then we went out for the day. We were surprised when we got back (late) to realize that no one had contacted us in any way to let us know what had happened or even to apologize for the night's mishap. Our tired family was even more surprised the next morning at 8am, when we were all awakened by housekeeping knocking on the door yelling "housekeeping" until I opened the door, at which point she said she thought the room was empty and moved down the hall. We go to hotels to sleep. Not somewhere I'd stay again.

“Clean Hotel, too Bad about the Air Quality”

The hotel was clean, the staff at the desk were great but the strong smell of chemical based air fresheners was gave to server headaches and trigger my upper respiratory allergies. After I asked to not have my room sprayed with the chemicals, it help. If you have allergies you may want to call ahead and ask for an air freshener free room. The towels were a bit cheap left lint all over your body. The clean maid I had a habit of not replace towels and leaving the trash can without lining and placed on the bed. Without that I would say the hotel is a 5.

“One of the BEST!”

We were on a major road trip, and stayed at many hotels. By far, the favorite was the Hampton Inn. We were very pleased with the luxurious appearance of the room, as well as the quality of the complimentary breakfast. Highly recommend staying here!

“Nice, affordable hotel in Memphis”

Myself and two of my friends came to Memphis for the Beale Street Music Festival. I had never been to Memphis before and was not familiar with the areas or where to stay but after reading good reviews about this hotel, we decided on this one. I was very pleased with this hotel. It was easy to get and to travel to the festival from. The area around it was okay. Nothing extraordinary but not bad at all. The staff was super friendly and helpful about where to park around the festival. The hot breakfast was good, too. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were quiet. Really enjoyed our stay especially for the price. Would stay here again!

“It was a Hampton....'nuff said.”

Location was near the highway though not in the best part of town. However, the room was of "Hampton" quality, as was the service and breakfast. For those who haven't stayed at a Hampton, it means that the room is clean, their service is very good as is the free breakfast. Price, perhaps because it wasn't in Germantown, was a bit more resonable. Would have no problem staying there again.

“Nice clean Hotel at Reasonable Price”

This hotel was what you'd expect. It was clean and everything worked properly. We were there on New Year's eve and they gave us the number for a shuttle to Beale St. They have a free shuttle to the airport and being right off the interstate it did not take very long to get anywhere in the city.
