Nice hotel - close to Mud Island and Beale Street

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: I liked the private balcony and the cleaness of the facility. The free hot breakfast was excellent! The staff was friendly. Free wi-fi .
Cons: The sofa bed is very uncomfortable. I would suggest extra cushioning. Also, we had an electrical problem with a couple of the lamps which we reported.
Location: Mud Island is walking distance and the shops and dining places on beale street are walking distances too. The food was great!
I would not recommend being on the 2nd floor. I stayed in room 213 and on Saturday night - all I heard was motorcycles reving up all night up to 3am Sunday morning. NO sleep that night. Other than that, the room was nice.

Hotel was nice and it is very close to museums and attraction places. But Beale street area was not what I have expected: too noisy and out-dated. I was hoping a nicer downtown.

You can hear the music from Beale Street and feel the great atmosphere of Memphis. We enjoyed our trip immensely.

Pros: Safety, pool, food, ease of check in and out
The Inn was easy to find. We parked in the adjacent garage and we we able to pay through the inn. Used our room card to come and go for one daily rate. We were one block off Beale Street. The security was good. The indoor pool and hot tub are open 24 hours, my grand children loved this. My son was able to walk to the theater to see Book of Mormon. The beds were clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was strong. The air conditioner worked well. I was able to get coffee when I wanted it and the breakfast was included. There were both hot and cold selections. Over all I would recommend this place.

Memphis Family Vacation

Pros: Staff was fabulous! Every person we talked to was friendly and smiling.
Cons: Pool could have been warmer, but the kids still loved it. Pool area was clean and nice.
Location: Walk to WC Handy park for free music each evening. Restaurants and shops nearby. We walked to the riverfront and down Main Street.
Family of 5 with one child disabled. So many helpful friendly people. Never had such a nice stay. Hotel was exceptionally clean and location was great. No problems at all.
