“Nice hotel for a good price in an ideal location”
The hotel looked modern or newly renovated. It was very well-kept. Staff was courteous and helpful. The front desk had printouts of directions to all of the local attractions, many of which were a short walk from the hotel. Nightlife on Beale Street was half a block outside the hotel entrance. Very convenient location. Breakfast was better than I had expected, especially considering that it was included. There was a belgian waffle maker, a tray of 2-3 hot items and an assortment of cereals, muffins, bagels, yogurt and fruit. We were thoroughly happy with our stay.
“excellent experience”
Extremely convenient location for entertainment, food and attractions. Room was spotless and quiet. Breakfast was adequate but not elaborate. It did save money. Staff was attentive and friendly. Would go back if I'm in Memphis again
“I WILL BE BACK!”
THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE BED WAS SO SO COMFORTABLE. THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST WAS A LOT BETTER THAN OTHERS THAT I HAVE BEEN TO IN THE PAST. THE HOTEL WAS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO ALL OF THE POINTS OF INTEREST.
“great location”
We went to Memphis to do the hang on Beale St. The location of the hotel was fantastic-just a half block away! Our room was great. We were on the curve and had a private balcony. Would definately stay there again!
“Great hotel, SUPER close to Beale Street”
Great hotel, super close to Beale Street. Breakfast was ok. Will stay again.
“Wonderful downtown hotel!”
We loved this hotel! The staff was wonderful and the hotel itself was great. It's in a wonderful location! So close to everything. Beale Street is only a block away, but the noise was not a problem at all at the hotel. It's also within walking distance to a lot of wonderful restaurants. We will definitely stay at the Hampton Inn next time we are in Memphis!
“Great place to stay!”
The staff at Hampton-Beale Street were so helpful...they were more than willing to give directions, recommend restaurants, and suggest activities. We appreciated the security of the hotel, although the parking entrance area is a little cramped. Even though we weren't able to stay up late enough to enjoy the Beale Street fun in person, we enjoyed falling asleep to the blues wafting up to our room from the street below!
“Wonderful hotel but it's on top of the noisy music scene”
Quality wise this hotel has everybody else beat. It has a great staff. They are all friendly and helpful and the rooms are roomy and comfortable. It has an indoor pool/spa, and it comes with breakfast. The hotel experience was fantastic. The location for clubbing is perfect. However, Hampton Inn and Suites advises you when you check in that it's noisy, Believe them. This hotel backs up to Beale St. If you are a light sleeper, you will not be getting a lot of rest until the clubs shut down after midnight or later. The music starts up again at 4:30 pm. Be realistic as to whether you are a light sleeper or not.
“Very Nice Hotel in Downtown Memphis”
Extremely convenient to many downtown attractions. The staff was professional and quite helpful. The hotel is well laid out and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast choices are good from a hot breakfast to traditional continental breakfast choices. Really good coffee too. I'd stay there again anytime.
“Beale St. Made Easy”
Check-in was a breeze. Secured, covered parking on site for a fee. The hotel staff was professional and friendly. The heart of Beale St. just footsteps away. Many fine restaurants within three square blocks.A couple blocks to Autozone park for a baseball game. The hotel was exceptional. A nice breakfast included in the price of the room. A twenty five minute drive to the Tunica casinos. A few blocks in either direction and you were on the interstate to go back home. It is hard to beat for a weekend getaway.
