Check in was fast and easy. Just a little disappointed the room we got didn't have a microwave or a phone for room services. When I asked about why we didnt have that and if we could get a room with those amenities I was told on my booking I didnt reserve a suit room. I was a bit confused about that since I have stayed in many different hotels and they all have the basic stuff. We stayed 4 nights, and we find some other people belongings on the room. We asked for towels and never got them untill we asked againg. Breakfast was good, and the staff was great on the breakfast area. Lobby was clean and felt welcomed. Felt safe since they always had a security on the parking lot day and night.

I was there for a business trip. When I booked a doubled bed, I was not aware that microwaves are only in the suites. This posed a major inconvenience for me because of some diet restrictions and I was not able to warm up my food nor was the microwave in the lobby available after 10am.

Clean...but renovating.
The hotel is under renovation, so the comforts and extras we are use to at other Hampton Inn & Suites were not available. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was well stocked with lots of options.

Not a Hampton Inns Experience
First - This hotel is being renovated. You're not told that when you book. Check-In was problematic. There is a sign on the front door which appears to point to the other door. In reality, both doors are locked and you have to enter from a side entrance. I was not asked if I am a Hilton Honors member (I am) The room appeared to be nice. However, the water in the shower barely gets warm and doesn't stay warm. The sink does have hot water. There will be a problem here since that shower was newly renovated and they will need to get into the plumbing to fix the problem. I like coffee in the room. While there is a coffee maker, the coffee pods don't fit the brand of coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay here. The area was pristine and everything was outstanding. Kudos to the woman who made it that way!

I will stay again
Our stay was very good. Room was spacious and comfortable. The only negative aspect was the construction/remodel that is taking place. The lobby was closed and all lobby functions in a temporary location. Remodel of the rooms is complete and the room was very nice.

Disappointing stay
This hotel was under reservation and was not provided a notification prior to making a reservation. Upon arrival, there was a makeshift check in desk and very narrow entrance. The room had no soap, laundry bag and tea in the room. We wanted to extend our stay, but when we wanted to do this we found out they had checked us out without our knowledge. We were thoroughly disappointed with this stay.

They have very very very low customer loyalty.
Just not good- Have stayed many times. They are under construction. I understand that, but they are not helpful, happy or grateful for their customers like us that stay 5-7 times a year despite that. They have very very very low customer loyalty. And friendliness is poor.

Property was being remodeled so had to find the area to check in and was a little confusing. Also had to go to the hotel next door to get breakfast but it was a nice hotel and breakfast.

This is the second time we stay here in a week because of the safe environment. Since we've already known about the renovation, feel better with the correct expectation. Breakfast at the next door Embassy Suits is awesome too.

The app should let us know if the property is being renovated. Also the high pet fee is not advertised. So much for being pet friendly.... otherwise the people were great and the room was comfortable.

I don't believe we were notified that the hotel is under renovation, half and front desk, breakfast area is closed. Though we were offered to have breakfast at next door, it's kind of inconvenient. Also there isn't microwave oven in room. Location is good, in a safe area.

Great room! Nice area of Memphis!
I was turned away by sonesta Memphis saying they were overbooked(I had the reservation for 3 days) booked with Hampton Memphis at 9:00 at night. They are renovating the front entrance but the room was obviously recently renovated. Quiet clean and spacious and a great breakfast.when I try to save a buck by booking someplace else I usually regret it. This stay was great!

Don’t stay while still under construction
When we arrived the hotel was under construction, 7 days a week with hammering supposed to begin at 9 am but it always began much sooner. The pool was also out of order, the room refrigerator was completely missing, the ice machine in the floor wasn’t working. The breakfast wasn’t available in the hotel, it was however offered at the hotel next door, imagine two hotels dining in one area. I went down to the makeshift front desk twice for assistance and waited a long time for assistance. Overall very unhappy with the stay. I will say this, the hotel once not under construction seems to be a nice hotel.
