Friendly HotelPosted Jan 25, 2014
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Traffic outside was a little bit noisy at times, but I guess that's just East Memphis. Nice stay.

Pros: location, decor, qu.beds, minifridge, hot tub, dinners and breakfast, also coffee and snacks at night. (drinks, when they get their l. license!)
Cons: kitchen cleanliness. Kitchen staff"s attitude! No dogs! Check all fridges and tvs, some were not always working well. Supply enough coffee, etc.
Location: not far from the mall or restaurants. Right off hwy 40. Like the location ok
Hotel was in transition from Drury Inn to Quality Inn, so of course things were not going as well as they could be. Most of the staff tried to be pleasant and helpful, but a few of them seemed cranky, and annoyed with their responsibilities,i.e. cooking and cleaning for dinner and breakfast. Sometimes I could hear their conversations and complaints. Also, some of the amenities promised to us, were not available yet. Considering the circumstances, my overall stay was fine. I would suggest that the new owners (whom I met, and seemed to be very nice) continue to keep it very clean, hire more staff, keep a close eye on the staff in the kitchen (who don't like to be "bothered" to help us), and keep the coffee, drinks, and popcorn open most of the night. Oh ya, fyi, they allow dogs! If they "catch up" with everything, and try to keep it as nice as the Drury I remember, then I'm sure I will return.

Great hotel for business travelPosted Sep 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Clean and comfy hotel. The free breakfast and evening snacks/drinks are a great bonus. You can save a lot of money with these added amenities, not may hotels offer free liquor!! A bit far from some the sights, but worth the few minute drive to save $$

Showing its age, but still a good hotel.Posted Sep 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Although quite a tired hotel the rooms are clean and comfortable. The light meal and drinks at dinner are a bonus. Convenient to interstate. Secure parking is handy as area surrounding area seems a little rough.

Always love DruryPosted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have always loved the Drury hotel..where the extras aren't extra. Their hot breakfast is better than anywhere else. Sausage, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, self made waffles, self made oatmeal or grits, yogurt, juice, coffee, or soda...all free!! & unlimited. Then in the evening you also get tickets for 2 free adult alcoholic drinks, free!! I visited Memphis to see Beale street. This hotel was approximately 10-15 mins from that location, so it wasn't too bad...especially if you plan on drinking. This location was great.
