Better than similar low cost options. CustomerPosted Sep 20, 2013
I needed an extremely economical extended stay motel. This fit the bill. The professionalism, friendliness, & efficiency of the staff were a pleasant surprise. They dealt with each guest in a personal and curtious manner while still enforcing hotel guidelines. Don't expect a 5 star hotel or a high end clientele, but they do a good job of performing a valuable service to people on a tight budget. The hotel has seen better days, but their were a couple of maintenance people about & the housekeeping staff were responsive.

Pros: Nothing! We found another hotel and left with out unpacking.
Cons: Tear it down and start agian!
Location: not a good location w/nothing near by.There was a bar/nite spot in front I would not venture into.
old,not cared for ,apparently a transient hotel for people on public assistence (not mentioned at time of sign up),the floors in the room were sticky w/holes in walls & bath room cieling.

Spend that extra $10 and stay somewhere elsePosted Aug 12, 2013
The hotel description states that they offer free wi-fi and continental breakfast....the wi-fi was weak to non-existent and they finally had to log me in to the restaurant next door to get onto the internet--when we came out for breakfast the next morning there was nothing set out despite the sign saying breakfast was served from 6am-9am and the coffee machine, toasters and microwave were clearly set out on the table, when I asked the lady at the front desk she said that they "no longer served breakfast". The hotel guests were mainly people who lived there permanently and there were a lot of people loitering outside the lobby on the sidewalk. Our room had no shower curtain or remote control when we checked in, however, this was taken care of in just a few minutes by the staff. The room itself wasn't that bad, except for the entertainment center which had missing handles and screws and staple sticking out of the wood. There was no alarm clock or hair dryer, and the mini-fridge was rusting on the inside. The hotel is also located in a seedy part of town, there's a strip club two doors down and a few abandoned buildings along the road. We're accustomed to staying in cheaper hotels and know not to expect Hilton comforts at Motel 6 prices, but this place was just awful. The only redeeming thing was that the staff was friendly and really tried to help, especially with the internet problems. Do yourself a favor and pay an extra $10 a night and stay somewhere else.
