“Review”
Was able to book literally at last minute.
“I'm married now”
This hotel was in the area of the wedding chapel where my husband and I got married. I loved the area and the price of the room was great.
“Okay for the Price”
The room was clean, but the bed and covers were well worn. Also there seemed to be a flying insect problem in the room even though the door and windows were kept closed the entire time. Overall the motel room was okay, not the worst I've had to stay in.
“Terrible”
Lets just say it's a good thing I brought my own pillow, sheets and blankets. The room was disgusting!! The worse part about it was the smell. It literally smelled like a moldy basement. My cousin was staying in the room next to us and she vomitted from the smell. They actually went to a different hotel room. I wasn't expecting luxury because it is a Red Roof Inn but I wasn't expecting what I got either. Never again. I can say the beds were comfortable BUT I would recommend bringing your own bedding.
“Not a pleasant experience...”
Really, it was not a pleasant experience... almost a nightmare because it was practically impossible to sleep in such a nasty place. The room had a horrible odor; the beds was the worst I ever see in a hotel during my entire life, the staff was not professional and inspired aprehension and discomfort. The general atmosfere was uncomfortable, uneasy, and fearful. I promised never coming back to this hotel in Memphis. Be skeptical of any good review about it!
“not impressed”
Price within available budget for trip. Location within walking distance of places to eat. Condition of room: sink counter/furniture surfaces clean, hot water/shower excellent, carpets and upholstery stained and worn, air-conditioning unit made air quality inside room intolerable (had to turn off unit during stay and keep door open whenever possible for fresh air).
“Dirty! Beds Smelled! Air Didn't work Well!”
This hotel is not a clean place to stay. My room smelled and the pillows stunk, along with the dirty carpet. I didn't even want to sleep on the bed. I will say the bath tub and toliet didn't look that bad, thank God! The air didn't work very well and it stayed humid & warm in the room all night. I WON'T be staying there again!
“Dirty and creepy”
I had had good impressions of the Red Roof Inns, but this is NOT the one to stay at!!! The first room they gave us, it was so dirty: blood stains on the box-spring, the chairs were spotted with dark areas, and you couldn't tell what the color the carpet was. One word, GROSS! I requested to be put in a different room, and the hotel staff was able to satisfy my request, although the second room wasn't much cleaner. I don't think I will ever stay at a Red Roof Inn, ever again.
“Good for the price”
You can't beat a basic hotel room for this price. The hotel was just what I needed- a cheap place to stay that was relatively clean and in a safe location. If you are traveling on a budget, I would highly reccommend this hotel. If you are expecting something more lavish, take your snobbery elsewhere.
“good room - reasonable price”
next time through would stay there again
