Not up to Sheraton standardsPosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Location, room
The hotel is undergoing some refurbishment, and as a result breakfast was in a temporary room. The breakfast was disappointing, not up to normal Sheraton standards I have experienced elsewhere in the world. The food selection was limited, and the quality poor. Apart from that the hotel was fine and the staff very helpful.

The room was newly redone and was very nice and comfortable, roomy and clean. The daily housekeeping was excellent. They were redoing the hotel but it didn't effect our 5 day stay.

Renovations killed it.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The guy at the front door was very helpful.
Cons: Hard to say as they were renovating. The paint in the tub was peeling. Not very classy.
Location: The location is deceiving. Walked from Beale street and it almost killed us. Great restaurant down the street called Westys, other than that nothing.
Won't stay in a hotel under renovation again. Coffee in room but no cups. Maze to get to the pool. Ate at the hotel restaurant and they were packing up the bar as we were eating. Served us burnt pizza which we didn't eat and refused to pay for. Ended up leaving a day early, no compensation as we booked it as a package through expedia. Still got the whole package at a great price.

Clean and friendly Hotel.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: This hotel is very clean! The staff were all friendly!
Cons: This hotel is well run and organized even with it's renovations. It could use a gift shop.
Location: The location was very close to the main core.......within walking distance.
I do not have anything bad to say about this hotel or the staff. We had a wonderful experience in Memphis!

Pros: Very thing we needed was available to us.
Cons: Your breakfast buffet could use more egg options. Would be nice to have a chef making egg omelets, pancakes and waffles.
Location: BEAL STREET was great. We had a wonderful time on Wednesday Bike Night. Entertainment was good and great food.
Our stay was very pleasant. The location was close to attractions we visited and parking was no problem. Hotel staff were very informative and polite. Will stay at this hotel if we come back to Memphis.

Terrible ServicePosted Aug 8, 2014
Location: To far to walk to downtown
First of all - $22 required valet charge that was not mentioned. Then the hotel is undergoing renovations that work us up on the 14th floor at 6 am. Went to breakfast in temporary dining area but no one working. Went to front desk, no one there. Went to get car from valet to go get breakfast, no one there. Finally walked to hotel across street fro breakfast and found all the employees along the way. No wonder they weren't in hotel - they were all out back smoking. And when I complained they got mad at me for interrupting their smoke break. Also this hotel is NOT within walking distance of downtown and there a very few cabs. So far, I have never found a Sheraton I like and this is no exception.

Nice hotel accessible to downtown and attractionsPosted Aug 5, 2014
The hotel was undergoing maintenance. Besides, the cleaners didn't show up on a daily basis.

Nice hotelPosted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: The staff, particularly the valet staff. Proximity to venues I wanted to attend.
Cons: Make sure all rooms are truly ready for occupation with no paint and glue fumes.
Location: Although we drove, FedX forum and Beale St were fairly close.
The hotel was very nice, however we were placed on a floor that was undergoing renovation. The room was very nice as it had been recently redone, however upon arrival for check-in at 4pm, we had to wait until almost 5 for the room to be readied. It was cleaned very well. During the night the smell of paint and carpet glue became an issue. Other rooms on the floor was still under renovation, not sure if the smell was from those rooms or the newness of the room we were in. The staff were very courteous. I might recommend this hotel but would have to make my experiences known.

Nice hotel, disappointing experiencePosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: Customer service
Location: We did Beale street, good experience but not worth travelling to memphis for
Checked in late afternoon and had to wait an hour and a half before we could go out as our room would not lock. Maintenance man was very helpful and fixed it, but reception weren't interested. Water was luke warm, again reception weren't interested.
