Walk everywhere.

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Hotel was in a great location. It is walking distance to bars, restaurants, and entertainment. Hotel was clean and every staff member was extremely friendly. Shower could use updating, but other than that the hotel was great.

Rude staff

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Staff was abrupt and rude on phone calls. Calls to request valet bring up car for pickup were ignored. Fitness Center needs renovation and when staff was informed of broken equipment they essentially dismissed us. I will not stay there again

Great Location! Love it!

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: The staff was nice and very friendly. Clean place. Great breakfast. And love the location!
Location: It is at walking distance from Beale street & The Riverboat rides, it's located right on Main street where the trolley run, right at the back door!
The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent! And the location was great! Walking distance to all the places we wanted to see in town!

Memphis in July

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: the front desk staff were friendly and breakfast was adequate.
Cons: pool was awful looking green water
Location: Beale street is close but not for walking to after dark
The staff at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. Other than that the pool water looked awful the room was ok but the pull out was old and the frame felt through the mattress. They never replenished toilet paper in the bathroom. Luckily we packed our own! Memphis at night is not a place to walk about. Our family never left the hotel after dark.

Nice getaway

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room. Nicely decorated.
Cons: Pillows too soft, bed way too hard. Find some middle ground, please.
Location: It's Memphis! So many things within walking distance of hotel.
Room was very nice, luxurious even. I loved the sitting room! Linens were awesome, but bed was extremely hard. Would definitely return.

Disappointed

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Location and outdoor pool was nice. Nice walk to the river as well as Beale Street
Cons: shampoo or replace the carpeting and manager needs to come up with an effective plan to ensure every room is cleaned and restocked everyday!
Location: great location near the river and about 1 mile walk to Beale Street ,nice shops and restaurants nearby.
Traveled with another couple - they had to request to get moved to a different room because the carpeting was so dirty and gross! Our room was only cleaned and restocked after the first night during our 3 night stay -we had to scrounge for towels and toilet paper! I even told the front desk we had ran out of toilet paper and towels and they never took action. Very clean city bus runs about every 15 minutes to Beale and only cost $1.00 I will say the Valet employees are top notch.

Nice hotel, Great location

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff were incredible, friendly, courteous and thoughtful. The valet parking attendants are there to provide you with excellent service.
Cons: The bartender has terrible people skills! Felt like we were imposing on her when we asked for a mixed drink.
Location: The hotel is locate right across the street from the court yard square, within easy walking distance to many attractions. 2 blocks from Mud Island
The hotel staff were incredible, friendly, courteous and thoughtful. The valet parking attendants are there to provide you with excellent service and will go the extra mile to help make your stay enjoyable. The building is located smack dab in the middle of one of the older sections of Memphis. Everything is within easy walking distance. The breakfast bar is simply fabulous: fresh Belgium style waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, rolls, donuts, cereal, juice and plenty of hot fresh coffee, everything was Delicious! The building connects to the Kresse building. An old ornately decorated building, built by the founder of K-mart. Beautiful building with an incredible facade.

Comfortable, clean hotel right in downtown Memphis

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient to downtown sites.
Cons: Used hand-towels and coffee mugs were not replaced for our second night of staying there.
Location: Nice restaurants, cafes, and museums were nearby.
The staff was friendly and helpful. All facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed staying right in downtown, convenient to sites to see and nice restaurants. We would stay there again if we return.
