“Stunning slice of live history in a dead town”
Beautifully restored. A couple small oversights with the room, but were addressed in an impressive manner. Note: The Peabody charges $11.95+tax per room per night as an amenities fee upon checking in. They will not waive it and it is in addition to what was already paid to Expedia.
“We loved it!”
A great hotel experience. It was in a great location with the restaurants and Beal Street in walking distance.!
“Great hotel with great service”
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at the Peabody. The hotel was beautiful (loved the historic design details), the rooms were clean, and the service was great. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Only unexpected thing we ran into was how much parking would cost. - Self-parking in the garage cost $18/day. Not horrible, but something to be aware of. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
“Terrific place to stay; wonderful experience.”
We spent two nights there; tuesday and wednesday in late April. We elected to get an upgrade they mentioned when checking in. Stay on the 12th floor, includes parking fee and evening snacks and a free drink for each of us. $90 extra. Total cost including a surprising "hotel service fee" of $11.95 per night was mid $750. Whew. That was the most expensive place I've ever stayed in. The hotel was immaculate and well maintained; staff was always friendly..
“Bucket list fulfilled at The Beautiful Peabody.”
My husband and I stayed at The Peabody for three nights for his 65th birthday. The hotel lobby is spectacular. The staff was friendly and it is convenient to Beale Street and other attractions. If you have to have a HUGH bathroom - not your hotel- although the room was plenty size for two people. Loved the Ducks!
“Perfect for families, couples & single travelers.”
This is a historic hotel. I thought it was well maintained. If you are expecting an enormous space, you will want to look somewhere else. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay with fantastic service, The Peabody is the real deal! And who doesn't enjoy watching ducks frolic in a fountain!
“A Classic Hotel”
We were in a brand newly remodeled room. I believe we were the first ones in it, so it was very nice. My only negative comment is that there is no coffee maker in the room. For those of us who are early risers, before the "free" coffee downstairs is available, this is an issue.
“Beautiful Hotel and convenient to restaurants”
The experience was wonderful, with the exception of loud laughter and talking from the room next door at 6:30 am.
“Completely Satisfied!”
We were there to celebrate a birthday in Memphis and had read the reviews of the Peabody. I can't say enough good things about the hotel, the location & the staff. Every day they offered ideas on dining & entertainment....listen to their restaurant recommendations because every place was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everyone.
“Love the ducks”
It was one of the best hotel stays of my traveling days, just a great experience.
