It was very nice.

Pros: The ducks.
Cons: Include a breakfast with the stay.
Location: We went to Beale St. and walked the shops, which was nice, the people were very friendly.
Everything was nice, but I wish the hotel would have included a breakfast in the package.

Fantastic location for this delightful experience.

Pros: The hotel is beautiful, quite well run, convenient, nice corner bar and Capriccio restaurant both lovely and had great food.
Cons: Our group couldn't think of anything that was lacking.
Location: Perfect location! We loved Capriccio's Grill each morning, The Rendezvous for BBQ, Huey's for burgers and fries, Beale St., Comp coffee was the best!
From arrival to departure we felt that the Peabody Hotel was exactly what we wanted. The staff was always willing to advise, assist, answer questions and always with a smile. Our little group of three spent three nights at the Peabody and were sorry we had to leave since we wanted to visit more attractions on our list. We visited Graceland, spent more time than resources felt we would need so we headed to the Arcade Restaurant that Elvis loved and had a very late lunch. Since we were exhausted we sat in the lobby to watch the ducks return to their rooftop lodging before heading to Beale Street. Mud Island was another place we visited and spent more time than resources said to allow. What a treasure that must be for the city of Memphis! From there we went to the Civil Rights Museum and were quite impressed with the way the Museum presented the story of slavery and the tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. We had much more we wanted to do while in Memphis but time just didn't allow.

Hit for 60USD for King Size bed

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Hit for an extra 30 USD per night for a king size bed. Rip off! We stayed in room 921. The couple in 919 had a shouting and swearing match from 01:30 in morning until 05:00. The walls are paper thin and that was the description of one of the managers. For our inconvenience we were given a Club room for the second night at the hotel

Overpriced for a one night stay

Posted Jul 9, 2014
The hotel staff was very professional. The hotel room was very modern, clean and quiet. Disappointing to find out that we had missed the infamous duck walk. Currently scheduled hours are 11 am and 5 pm - make sure you are at the hotel if you want to see them. Otherwise, the hotel is overpriced for the average Joe. I can now say "been there, done that."

Very nice hotel close to Beale Street

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Peabody Hotel very nice. Comfortable beds with smaller bathrooms but sufficient for our needs. Atrium had very nice shops, deli & bakery. Service at Peabody was excellent. Desserts and coffee, tea or drinks in the atrium area was nice but paying $15.00 for a 2 cup pot of hot tea was a bit expensive. Will never make that mistake again. Coffee and internet surcharge of 11.95 / day. For that price , you would expect to have a muffin or bagel thrown in. Coffee in the deli daily until 9a.m. I would have liked to be able to have a cup of coffee before check out time but cut off right at 9 a. m. I feel cut off time is a bit early, 10 o'clock would be more appropriate considering it cost 11.95/ day. Internet service not needed by all guest. Most people can access internet via cell phones. Walking of the Ducks was very entertaining! Overall my 4 day stay was very nice and look forward to staying at Peabody in Memphis in the future!

A class act

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The lobby was great. Not only were we entertained by the duck walk, but also by all the people who gathered there at all hours of the day and night.
Location: Beale St. was a two night attraction even for a couple of senior citizens!
We wanted a place to get away to for the July 4th weekend and selected Memphis. The Peabody's reputation preceded it and the rate through Expedia was just right.

Truly is The South's Grand Hotel

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Great hotel with fun lobby that had comfortable seating with a bar and snack area and constant piano playing alongside the famous ducks. Only bad thing about it was they didn't mention that self parking was an extra $18 a day! Steep!
