Have tattoos this place is not for you

Posted Feb 22, 2015
the lady at the desk said that there were not any rooms available for a 2nd night so as my husband and I were leaving the lobby we had over heard the lady at the desk book a room and jad said she had "several" so I had asked her why she had lied to my husband and I she reason was that "she does not help people like my husband" so warning if you have visible tattoos this is not the place for you I will never go back

We were visiting family and just needed a bed to go home to at night. The room was fine, beds were clean. It's just showing it's age in the color choices and wear and tear. Front desk staff was as nice as could be.

Repeat customer...

Pros: Location. Price. Friendly Staff.
Cons: It's an older hotel so if you're looking for fancy this might not be your cup of tea. Basic. Clean. Quiet.
Location: There isn't enough room to tell all the things you can do nearby; whale watching late winter to spring, wine tasting, beach activities, kayaking....
We come to Fort Bragg a minimum of three times per year and always stay at the Seabird Lodge. They know us and treat us well...what more can you ask for?

Simple hotel w view of the ocean (2nd floor)

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Responsive staff. Our Heating unit did not work the first morning (December), we reported it and it was replaced that day and ready for our 2nd night.
Location: On the main stretch in Fort Bragg with easy access to restaurants, coffee shops and the headlands.
Simple hotel with friendly staff. Could use extra blankets since we like to sleep in a cool room... We had a few fleece blankets in the car and used those. Perhaps we could have asked for some...

This hotel had a large, clean room with a good bed. Good value for your money. The décor was a bit dated and could use an upgrade. Good location for a walk down to Noyo Harbor and close to restaurants.

Good for Kids

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: In door pool my son loves it.
Cons: mattresses
Location: Skunk Train is the best and the train singer and his singing son are awesome.
Overall a good hotel with a nice central location. Has everything you need if you have kids. clean rooms, indoor pool close to a few restaurants. Mainly two drawbacks. The heated pool says 82 degrees and i am not buying that. I would say mid 70's at best. My son still loves it but a bit rough on dad. Beds poor they are do for new mattresses. So overall we will stay again but they really need to drop some cash on a mattress up grade.
