“A wonderful hotel at an affordable price”

This hotel was very clean and well taken care of. It is kind of easy to drive right past it, as we passed it and had to make a U-turn and come back to it. We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and overall how quiet and relaxing the hotel was. The outside appearance of it is a little deceiving, as it looks like a motel from the outside, but you will not be disappointed! The morning breakfast was nice and a good way to get going in the morning before catching the Skunk Train. The mini golf course right across the parking lot was a very nice added feature and provided good family fun. The woman at the hotel front desk and the man running the mini-golf course were both very friendly and courteous. Only complaint was that my wife said she could hear when people got ice from the ice machine right outside of our room; the soda machine was also right outside, as well as the nearby main road. Would definitely stay here again!

“Great weekend getaway”

The hotel was very nice. Even though it could use some updating the hotel room was exceptionally clean. I would definitely stay there again. The bed mattress is wonderful. The room was perfectly priced and the hotel staff was very very friendly. Restaurants Dinner- Herons by the Sea...hard to fine but you definitely wont be sorry. This place had fantastic food. The best seafood we have had in fort bragg in a long time. Breakfast- Eggheads....Just a whole in the wall place on main street but well worth finding it. Go early so you dont have to wait. Food was excellent and exactly what I expected. Lunch- Went to the old standby, Capt. Flints and was really disappointed. Try another place.

“Very Satisfied”

I was completely satisfied with the accommodations. I would have preferred a more special place with a great view, however my reservation was made during a busy part of the season and a special event was taking place near by. Taking everything into consideration I was fortunate to have found such a pleasant place during the high season. I would return again.

Clean and spacious rooms, nice extras, coffee maker and personal fan! Also had a view of the ocean. Easy access to Highway 1. I would stay here again.

“NIce, Reasonable place in Fort Bragg”

Fort Bragg is small so close to things to do and see.

“Great Location- Close to everything”

Great place to stay. Only downsides were limited ocean view & continental breakfast wasn't very good. Orange "juice" was like orange flavored water.

“Worth every penny!!! :)”

This was Valentine's weekend for my girlfriend and I since we were busy last weekend so we were hoping for a magical weekend and we were NOT dissapointedVery clean room for starters. Hotel staff was very friendly and the jacuzzi and fireplace in our room was excellent. We had a lot of fun playing minature golf right there on site and you get a discount if you are a guest at the hotel. Great location as we were able to walk one short block to The Cliff House which in my opinion is the nicest place to eat in town. There is a Starbuck's a few blocks away as well as many other nice extras within walking distance of this hotel. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back.

“As expected”

There's no luxury hotels in the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area. Period. Emerald Dolphin Inn meets the expectation of a two star hotel. - It provided a clean, well maintained room with two QUEEN-size beds (some 2 stars around here have only twin-size beds or just one bed). - I called for a baby crib ($10 flat fee during the stay, which was really nice) and it was ready when we arrived. - Front desk clerk kindly answered my questions about local interests (I did wish that he could've provide longer answers though :) ). - The continental breakfast was minimal but we did grab one danish. McDonald is right across street. Breakfast in the town at EggHead was pretty expensive that they ask for $19 for an omelet and $9 for a waffle. - Parking space is limited but OK. All in all, there's no surprise during the stay. We didn't try out the mini-golf course and the close by beach access.

“Simple Accomodations”

Staying for business, it fit my needs: quiet, good location, refrig in room. Continental breakfast was very limited and the in room coffee was watery. But it was quiet and roomy. I would stay here again.
