This reservation was made at the last minute. I was looking for a place where I would be sure that my guests were comfortable. The picture of it on line gave it the appearance that it would be a good place to stay, however many times the picture hasn't match the hotel that we experienced - not so with your hotel. It was economically priced, very clean and friendly; and with the beautiful breakfast spfread saved us quite a bit of money.

Wonderful motel at a perfect location for our travel plans. The accommodations were perfect and restful, and the breakfast was excellent.

“Great hotel, wonderful for families!”

We stayed here instead of in the more expensive town of Mendocino when we had to travel to the area for a wedding. The hotel is WAY underrated - we were so pleased with our experience! The rooms are well appointed, clean, spacious, and (best of all) quiet! The breakfast was absolutely delicious - eggs, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, cereal, pastries, bagels, yogurt... there was something for every picky eater in my family to be happy with. We ate out on the balcony with wonderful ocean views. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we couldn't be happier with our stay.

The hotel was new or newly remodeled. Attractive, clean, comfortable, pleasant. Great breakfast included in the price. I would definitely recommend it and go back when visiting Mendocino.

“The best hotel in town”

My husband and I along with other family members went to Ft. Bragg for a soccer tournament during the Labor Day weekend. We've never been there and didn't know where we should stay. Expedia gave a list of hotels available for the area and Holiday Inn Express is the hotel we were familiar with and posted the nicest photos. When we arrived to the hotel and walked into our rooms we were very satisfied. The rooms were clean and our windows over looked the wooded mountains. We enjoyed the views especially when the fog rolled in (a balcony would've been nice). Overall the hotel was very clean, the staff was pleasant and helpful, it offered free coffee/juices with breakfast, and had the best location. For those looking to stay in Ft. Bragg, especially those who have never been there, we highly recommend this hotel.

“Great hotel for families with young children!”

I was a little hesitant to stay at the Holiday Inn being a patron of primarily Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott family of hotels. But this was the only large full service hotel in the area. As soon as we arrived I was very impressed with the cleanliness and manicured landscape and buildings. The staff were friendly as well. Our room was very clean. Best part of it all, was the delicious hot breakfast that was served in the downstairs lounge. Everything from scrambled eggs, omelets, sausage, bacon, pancakes, and some really yummy cinnamon rolls! The pool was also quite nice as it was heated. A great welcome after a long day of walking and strolling through shops. The kids loved this hotel as well! We will definitely stay here again!

very hospitable, more like being welcomed at a bed and breakfast than a chain hotel. the owners have done a beautiful job updating everything. gorgeous setting with the waves in view and the creek habitat outside the windows. lots of fun for the kids rain or shine with the indoor pool, all the conveniences you could want for the adults
