Quiet but convenient locationPosted May 3, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and nice staff and location
Location: Beaches , restaurants, Skunk Train, and necessities nearby but must drive unless you want to walk on busy main road. Easy 9 mile drive to Mendocino.
Great staff and very helpful. Decent workout room . Breakfast was not good one morning and very good the next , but you will never get homestyle cooking in these hotels anyway: hot breakfast is typically machine made waffles or pancakes, prefab bed eggs and the typically unhealthy American sausages and bacon. It was good to have the option of hot oatmeal and fresh fruit. The coffee, true in every hotel of this type, is terrible,,, but Starbucks , at least, is not far away!

Clean, quiet and convenientPosted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: It was convenient, clean, and comfortable.
Location: It's very near the coast and numerous beaches. Not far from Anderson Valley if you're willing to drive to wineries. Near redwoods forests, too.
I stayed here while visiting a family member. It was perfectly nice, quiet, and clean. I slept well and felt comfortable.

Nice hotel close to everything in Fort BraggPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: proximity to stores, restaurants, and breakfast.
Cons: Pool was not available during our night stay. It would have been nice to use it.
Hotel is on Hwy 20, but next to where it ends on Hwy 1. It is very close to the wharf restaurants, Mcdonalds and Safeway, which is great if you have 2 active and hungry kids with you. It is about less than 5mins from Glass Beach and the Mendocino Botanical Gardens. The rooms are spacious, although I would opt for the rooms facing away from Hwy 20. The noise from the cars are not very loud, but you can hear some of it. The breakfast was very good with pancakes, omelettes, sausages, pastries. There was an indoor pool, but was not available on the night that we stayed. I would definitely choose this place again if we're gonna be in Fort Bragg.

I do not give overall & comfort because we did not get a king bed room as requested! We got two queen beds instead.

Good hotelPosted Feb 17, 2015 on Hotels.com
Good hotel for the price. I would stay there again when I come back to the area- it was only about 15 minutes from the Glass Beach, 5 minutes from the Botanical Gardens, and 10 minutes from Mendocino Headlands.
