Pros: view
Cons: felt old
Location: stunning
Beautiful location in the middle of nowhere... outdated musty room for the price you paid... not sure why I thought it included breakfast, but it didn't and it was rather pricey, good thing it was delicious : ) Golf was nice and affordable for overnight guests.

restfull vacation due to helpful staff

Pros: room service,tennis and golf
Cons: none
Location: well landscaped with wonderful ocean views
We had a restful vacation with a nice ocean view. The staff were all very helpful. We did not like my dinner the first night that was the special and they did not make us pay for it. We received free vouchers for breakfast each morining because expedia had advertised free breakfast even though there isn't. We had room service for breakfast each moring and it was very nice. The food was good and hot. We will definately come back

Pros: The view, fireplace, quiet, & cleanliness.
Cons: Coffee Pot
Location: Great view of the ocean
Walking into the room with a WOW, then LOOK AT THAT VIEW! This is a wonderful place for a nice quiet week-end, sitting by the fireplace & listening to the ocean.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Little River Inn. The room was clean, comfortable and had a fireplace. We loved the balcony and rocking chairs looking out over the Pacific from 200 feet up. We had both breakfast and dinner in the Inns restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I cannot recommend them enough.

Excellent location...nice walk to the beach. Only a couple of miles to town. In the mornings we had the beach to ourselves. We saw whales!!! Our room had the best view...the ocean. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and courteous. Restaraunt had nice ambience and the food was really good. We would love to stay here again and it's worth the extra effort it took to get here from Redding, Ca

Awesome Ocean View

Usually when we get a hotel room with a "view" we're very disappointed. NOT THIS TIME! We had a 180 degree view of the ocean down to Van Damm State Beach and could hear the surf from our room. The balcony/deck was a great place to sit and have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. The restaurant was great-we had breakfast and dinner there every day. This place is a very short drive to Mendecino if you want to walk down to the tide pools. There is a short path from the hotel down to Van Damm. Fort Bragg is close if you want to go whale watching-which we did. If you drive there via 128, do some wine tasting in the Anderson Valley-they are very friendly. This is a place we will visit again...and we don't do that very often.

Great location- probably the best around. Booked a fireplace oceanview. Great view of the cove and the surrounding ocean. Soothing wave sounds and could see the surf on the beach in the cove from bed. Room was a bit basic, but it was one of the cheaper rooms, so okay. All rooms have a good view. Very friendly and service oriented. Good restaurant too.

A secluded getaway

Pros: Great view, nice fireplace, good restaurant.
Cons: nothing stands out as being worthy of mention
Location: A short drive south of Mendocino, on the coast
Our room was in the Abalone section of the Inn. It had a beautiful view from the deck (bottom floor). The beds were a little firm, but comfortable enough. There was a small fridge and coffee maker. The fireplace was all set to start up with one match being all that was needed. Plenty of wood was provided and replenished each day. There was a blanket in the closet that we used to prolong sitting time on the deck. Sunday brunch was nice, with free champagne. I would heartily recommend this inn to anyone. They also have some pet friendly rooms, but you need to set this up ahead of time.
