“Great getaway!”

This place is ideally located between Mendocino and Ft. Bragg. The rates are reasonable. My room had a deck with a view down to the Inn's private beach. I will definitely be back!

“Everything was perfect...”

I wasn't really expecting much when I made this reservation. Other reviewers made very few positive comments, so I didn't get my hopes up. We were SO pleasantly surprised. It wasn't extravagant, but it was quiet, very homey, very comfortable and everything went quite smoothly. The inside of our room reminded me of a cabin. Price was extremely affordable, and we couldn't have been happier. Hands down, the best part was the private beach. It had this little trail thriving with plant life that lead down to the beach. Absolutely one of the best "Kodak moment" beaches. My husband and I will always stay at this Inn every time we visit Fort Bragg. Before we even left, we were planning our next trip up there.

“Great place, not expensive”

This is an old-fashioned beach resort which appears to have been turned into a motel in the 60s. It has easy walking access to a beautiful private beach. My king room was very clean and quiet, though the decor had not been updated since the 1970s. The managers appear to live onsite and are very helpful and friendly folks. It's only 10 minutes from Mendocino and 5 minutes from Ft. Bragg. There's tennis courts but no pool or hot tub. =

“Pine Beach Hotel”

We loved it here!!! To have your own private beach and have it all to ourselves was unreal. We were able to have the dog off her leach and she also loved it. It was so quiet and relaxing we wish we were back right now! The grounds were perfect with lots of birds to identify. One evening we had a mom and her two baby deer visit us on the beach. The location was great also -- right outside of Fort Bragg and just a few minutes to Mendocino. We would go back tomorrow!

“Quiet and peaceful”

This hotel is great. It's a little rustic but very comfortable and very quiet. There is a nice path to the beach, and there is also a nearby path to Jughandle State Park. I really enjoyed my stay there. It is conveniently located close to everything- Fort Bragg, Mendocino. Also a very nice little breakfast in the lobby in the morning, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

“Not Fancy but a Good Place to Stay”

The hotel owner was extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is on the ocean and has a very convenient location between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. The onsite Thai restaurant has very good food.

“we loved it...”

My husband & I were going up to fort bragg on a mini vacation. We rode his motorcycle from sacramento to fort bragg and knew that when we arrived we needed a clean comfortable room. My husband & I were delighted to receive both. The hotel staff was friendly and did not bother us during our stay but were very useful and courteous when we needed directions or asked for nearby restaurants. We loved the hotel, the private beach and our stay at the pine beach inn!

“Lolve the "outdoors" feel of this hotel. No Hussel Bussel”

Hotel may not be for everyone. If you are looking for 5 stars you may want to seach elsewhere but if you are looking for a relaxing away from all the hurry, you will love this place. I am looking forward to returning. My graqnddaughters, 8 and 12, loved the hotel.

“by the sea”

Our stay at the Pine Beach Motel was very good. The manager was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach was short and easy. We had a pleasant nights sleep and went on our way.
