Very Nice!Posted Nov 29, 2013
Location: Lots of state parks near by with good hikes. We went to Russian Gulch State Park and did the hike to the water fall hike.
Good location, very friendly staff... we had a very nice stay.

Sea gull inn MendocinoPosted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: All the above plus the position in te heart of Mendocino.
Cons: Hum from extractor fan next door slightly spoilt sitting in the garden.
Location: Centre of town 2 mins from shops and good restaurants and cafes.
Attractive wooden house with bedrooms all of different characters. Our room was extremely floral and pretty. Host welcomed us very warmly and explained the facilities and some things to do locally. We sat on a deck in the garden watching the hummingbirds on arrival. All facilities worked and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was brought to our room and was orange juice, warm raspberry muffins, fresh fruit, yoghurt and tea and coffee. All attratively served on china tea set.

An absolute gem!Posted Oct 6, 2013
This B&B is charming, clean, in a great location. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough and exuded a quaint, ocean cottage atmosphere. Behind the inn, the garden meanders and flowers bloomed everywhere. Breakfast was simple but delicious and brought to our room on a tray. The raspberry muffins were the best! Innkeepers were pleasant and helpful. Bathroom was a bit dated but very clean and functional. No TV, thank goodness and internet worked well. The inn is a block from shops and restaurants and you can see the water from the front porch.

Nice lodging with great gardens near town/coastPosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Nice room, great location, nice garden, good breakfast
Cons: Ask restaurant next door to put in new blower or whatever that equipment piece is that makes noise endlessly.
Great except noise from adjacent restaurant equipment/blower.

breakfast??Posted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our Room was clean but small. Bed too soft for our liking. Good for a 1-2 night stay, 3 or more nights too long. Breakfast was muffins and fruit and coffee every morning. Good fresh baked muffins but once was enough.

Nice, but way cozy.Posted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
We probably got one of the smaller rooms in the Inn. Nice, cute, but a full bed and not a lot of other space, so a couple 5' 10" + felt a little cramped. No public common rooms. Pleasant outdoor spaces. Good breakfast delivered to your room, if you like muffins. We liked the location, in town Mendocin, entirely walkable to anywhere else in the town. Close to the coffee joint that opens at 6 am, the Harvest Market for necessities.

Small rooms, quaint, very clean --- nicePosted Jul 28, 2013
Pros: Beautiful gardens, delightful breakfast and wonderful owners.
Cons: Not much.
Location: Sunset was beautiful, local wines delicious, music festival interesting.
Staff very nice, a rather small room but I understand - it originally was a home, so small rooms - restaurants in town very good, friendly locals. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent, attentive service from the owners. Older but full of rugged coastal character and the reason one visits Mendocino. Clean, comfortable and fitting for a visit to the area. The Ritz just doesn't work in Mendocino. Local does and this is it.

Lovely B&B - worth stayingPosted Jun 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room is nice and comfortable, clean. The breakfast / baked goods were very good and the presentation was lovely. The location is great and convenient - safe and quiet. The Café next door is convenient as well as great food and friendly service. There is no TV, radio, clock, or phone, and that makes it all the more relaxing.

Delightful B&BPosted Jun 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Modestly priced bed and breakfast made my time in Mendocino enjoyable. The hotel is small and charming. The room is a bit cramped but worked fine for my purposes. The bathroom is small but adequate. I prefer bar soap to liquid soap and they only have the latter. The breakfast was delivered on-time each morning and the portions were generous. The proprietors were delightful. I would be happy to stay there again.
