“the ocean from fort bragg, ca”
everything was great
“Fine if you are passing through town.”
Fine for a last minute stop on your way through town. The first room we were given looked like it was still occupied or hadn't been cleaned...the front desk was very embarrassed and apologetic and immediately got us into another room. Staff also gave us a good dinner recommendation.
“Good Family Hotel.”
The indoor pool and hot tub was the best! Kids spent almost all day there. The restaurant by the hotel - Trade Winds was a little over priced, small portions, and needs updating. You can hear your neighbors as we did, right before Christmas and this woman is yelling at her baby to go to sleep from 2 am till about 3 am - should of called the front office or CPS. No shampoo or conditioner but it was a good place to stay while waiting to go on the Christmas Skunk Train. We recommend the Home Style Cafe a little south of the hotel - great food, great price, and nice people.
“Nice hotel, but noisy on weekends”
This was a very nice hotel, with little touches that really helped us enjoy our stay. It was well kept, clean, and the staff was accommodating. The only problem for us? The weekends have live music. We were invited to join when checking in, but we wanted to sleep. We are from a very rural area, however. Others may sleep better through the noise. Just know that it didn't stop until after midnight Friday night. I would still book it again, but perhaps on a weekday. Thursday night was much quieter.
“tradewinds”
ok--room--no internet at all---no breakfast----my sisters room had no locks or latches on windows which kinda of freaked her out-----
“Good for anight or two with a couple little ones”
A bit shabby and run down, but the place is functional and the rooms clean. Nothing fancy, but a good place to stay over night to enjoy the Fort Bragg area. The restaurant had tasty food and a fun theme. There is a bar that's part of the restaurant, which looked a little shady, but no big deal. Staff of the restaurant and the hotel were courteous. For its location, the place was quieter than expected.
“Run down and thin walls.”
Nice staff. Thin walls and rude neighbors. They played the tv really loud until 2am! Clean place but really run down. Will not stay again.
“This Motel Should be Torn down and replaced”
A very old motel, Toilet backed up twice for no reason, Had to ask for a toilet plunger at front desk & clean up the mess myself, No smoking room that smelled like a whole can of freebreeze was used to make it smell clean just before our arrival, No air cond ,old outdated TV, informed that the jaccuzi was broken, and pool is not heated. I will Never stay there again! And will not recommend this motel to anyone! It should be torn down!
“Smelly”
The room was clean, but had a strange odor that permeated the room. There were also quite a few unsavory characters hanging out around the entrance and restaurant area. Being uncomfortable with the smell and overall environment, we decided not to stay. The desk guy was fine, and refunded our payment.
“no thanks tradewinds”
hotel was very congested, hard to find a parking place. walls very thin could hear neighbors talking. atmosphere unpleasant
