Good dealPosted Feb 20, 2015
This is probably not the place for a romantic getaway, but if you are looking for a great deal close to the mountain, this is it. Short drive to Killington or Rutland, so you have options for dinner. Breakfast highlight is the waffles hot of the griddle and the main lodge is pretty cool with a dear head on the wall and a pool table. I would stay here again.

No frills, economical stay close to skiing.Posted Feb 17, 2015
We booked this hotel mainly for the price and its closeness to Pico/Killington ski areas. Yes, the rooms could use some updating and could be a little cleaner, but that would probably jack up the price. It was clean enough, the beds were soooo comfortable, and the included continental breakfast was clutch. The game room was also enjoyable for our family, something to do besides watch TV in the evening. The hot tub was closed due to the extreme cold weather, but if open, would have definitely been used after skiing! The owners were extremely nice and attentive, and even joined us in a round of table soccer - fun! A very adequate hotel for the price-conscious.

Older property, so not very modern, but all in all it was a decent place to stay

Great PlacePosted Oct 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a wonderful little motel right around the corner from Killington and right down the street from Pico. The room is clean. The hotel staff is very nice. The lodge / lounge area is very roomy and comfy. Their breakfast is nice, waffles - orange juice, coffee, bagel, etc... There is plenty of room to hang your snow gear. Nice flat screen TV - and great heat that kicks in right away. I will stay here time and time again.

Inexpensive, clean, very nice ownersPosted Oct 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
We travel through here periodically and usually stay at the Killington Pico Motor Inn because it's very basic lodging that is always clean and inexpensive. The owners are very conscientious and cordial.

Bucket List trip to New England in the FallPosted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Conveniently located.
Cons: Lots of knick knacks on walls and around the common area of the hotel including what appeared to be some Christmas decorations which were quite dusty.
Location: Located close to ski resort and other hotels. Very short drive to lots of food and shopping.
We arrived and had no problem checking in. The hotel owner was very nice and told us since we were there early he had just turned the heat up and it would be warm shortly. Within 10 minutes the room was toasty and warm. This is an older facility but our beds were very comfortable and the sheets were good quality, clean, and crisp, and the towels thicker than usual for a lower priced hotel. The bathroom tub and shower were very clean. The property is large and has a large common area with a fireplace. The breakfast area overlooks the woods in the back of the property. The breakfast included waffles, toast and bagels, sweet rolls, juices, and jelly and cream cheese. I have stayed in lots of hotels/motels of varying quality and I would definitely stay here again because of the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the beds.

Great placePosted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was close to Killington and the price was great. I was nervous because it was so cheap, but everything was fine when we got there. No problems at all.

GrossPosted Sep 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was the dirtiest, most shady hotel room I've ever stayed in. Bathroom light didn't work (maybe a good thing so I didn't see too much awfulness). Dirt and dust lined the walls and the underside of the beds. Can't walk around without slippers. Blinds didn't close properly. Front desk people seemed nice enough at least.
