Not worth the price

Pros: Small parking
Cons: Lower the price.
Location: Good location for almost everything
Nice lobby, poor room, no fridge, breakfast OK. This hotel is disapointing because of the price and the poor quality of the room.

I was not there for too many hours, late afternoon in and very early out. Therefore I was not able to take full advantage of the hotel's facilities. Overall though it was a nice stay and I would look to stay there again.

Hot and Unhelpful

I am not a critical person, but this hotel was completely awful. Our room was burning hot as there was a centrally controlled radiator that we could not turn off. We could not sleep. Additionally, even though they are located in the heart of Argentina's wine country, the hotel did not have a corkscrew for us to borrow. The staff was completely unhelpful. Expedia should not partner with Hotel Carollo.

Great location and staff was very good. No problems what so ever. Minor glitch the pillows were very uncomfortable but everything else was very good value. Clean and safe

Bad hotel in a great location

Old and run down hotel with less then friendly staff. When we had transport issues and called ahead to advise that we would be late they asked us repeatedly to stay for 3 nights anyway cause we would be charged for all 3. What a surprise when we checked out and were charged for an extra night! The pool was so dirty 2 days we did not even go in it! The only thing positive about this hotel is that its in an excellent location. Buyer be ware! with all the rooms build around a centre square where the pool is located do not expect to sleep before 3am

The hotel was average, but the staff made it great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They did their best to help in any way they could or were asked. The staff in the breakfast area and cleaning of the hotel were superb! They worked so hard and were always receptive to any needs that I expressed. And the breakfast was very good and plentiful. The front desk staff were the best! I have stayed in 5-star hotels that were not nearly as helpful or friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to others. Also, my internet always worked in the common areas and I could walk to restaurants and shopping. The front desk staff arranged tours for me when I asked them to. All in all, it was a very positive experience!

no non smoking rooms. the first room offered to us smelled bad of cigarette smoke and something else. the second room was a little better. not even a little bit of english spoken at the reception - solamente argentino! - they were generous with teir check out policy and the breakfast was good.
