Quiet hotel with amazing views

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: The views from our room
Cons: More comfortable balcony seating
Location: Very peaceful area. Lots of eating places and a few shops in the nearby harbour. Can walk into Mahon.
We stayed for a week on half board. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The view from our balcony was wonderful.Food was good and plentiful with lots of choice at every meal and the restaurant had fabulous views over the water. We celebrated our anniversary while we were there and were given a bottle of bubbly and a small cake which was a lovely touch. There were plenty of sunbeds and parasols for everyone and enough room so that we never felt crowded. Very quiet location with not a lot to do in the immediate area but great for a relaxing holiday.

20th Aniversary weekend celebration

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Hotel room doors would be good if they both opened up and more hangers please
Location: Location Es Castella Menorca very expensive at the port, really enjoyed the local bars very friendly wished we had seen boat hire at the hotel.
Stunning! Brilliant place , bit quiet for us but overall really enjoyed our stay, good selection for breakfast. Very friendly staff, black decking was very hot on the feet when the temp was high .

Lovely Hotel with fantastic view!

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Great area to lounge around on the sun bed. The jacuzzi was great.
Cons: Internet speed in the room was very slow.
Location: Very close to Calas Fonts - only a 10 minute walk to lots of bars and restaurants. We even walked cross country to Mahon in about half an hour.
We had a very pleasant stay at Carlos III. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fabulous views,hotel clean,staff very friendly.

This was my 3rd visit to this hotel and it gets better every visit. The hotel is small and family run. The food is locally produced! The relaxing views from your sun bed is spectacular and and there is no shortage of beds and umbrellas. The Jacuzzi is new this year and also looks out to sea.

Hotel facilities were excellent

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: nice aspect near the harbour
Cons: the room we had was very nice but the sun didnt get on the balcony till very late in the evening next time we will ask for a sunny balcony.
Location: there are many buses to different locations in Mahon but the bus leaves the hotel area every 30 mins
The best thing was that the ages of the people where all around the same age and no children around. Plenty of food to choose from and staff very pleasant. The harbor was visible from the dining room and it was so peaceful to sit and watch the boats going by.

Great Hotel close to harbour

Posted May 21, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: Choice of food in the evening
Location: Within a walk to get bus into Mahon, nearest beach 6/7 kilometres away. Not a lot to do around hotel.
Great welcome by staff, room spotless, cleaned every day. Staff in all areas were great and very happy to deal with any requests. We were on a bed and breakfast deal and the breakfast buffets were great, big choice of anything you could possibly want for breakfast. We also stayed and had our evening meal for 3 nights and thought that the first one was great for choice etc but the there did not seem as much choice for other nights. This would be the only "moan" of the holiday. Entertainment for a few hours on three evenings in the bar area was a good idea. First time on this Island and a very happy experience. I would say that you do need a car for sight seeing. There is not a lot happening around the hotel.

Suberb hotel, views to die for

Posted May 13, 2014
Pros: We upgraded to a suite on the 3rd floor, which was well worth the extra as it included a hot tub on the balcony! The staff were exceptional.
Cons: Pool was a bit cold in May but fine if you're in to swim.
Location: 10 mins walk to the pretty little harbour at Es Castell. 10 mins by bus into Mahon, well worth the trip for the tapas alone. Horse riding is a must!
Excellent choice of hotel.Stunning location overlooking Mahon harbour. Only 15 minutes by taxi from the airport, brilliant. Even an option for a short break. Go horse riding along the network of bridleways 'Cami de Cavalls' to really appreciate the islands beauty. Sorry to the nudists on the beach - hope our horses didn't kick up too much sand!

Quiet relaxing hotel with excellent service

Posted May 11, 2014
We were made welcome from the very beginning and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Bedrooms are well furnished and spotlessly clean. There is a wide variety of food available served in buffet style. We found that we ate in as often as not, although the local restaurants are also excellent. It is a perfect place for a quiet and relaxing stay.
