Restaurant food here is excellent!Posted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: Food is brill!
Cons: Packed sun terrace
Location: Up a v e r y steep hill - ok providing you have a car or dont leave the hotel after 7pm
Restaurant food is excellent! Pool is very nice too,and the adults only bar is comfy and relaxing. As long as you have a car or can manage to walk up cardiac hill then this hotel would be fine as then you can go down into town or beach area for drinks etc at night. Downside is that the sunbathing area is packed like sardines and even then there were no beds left for me & my husband one day (at 11.30). Entertainment is mostly for kids and could do with better professional acts really. Rooms are big and aircon good. No fridge in room this time though ( we did have one 2 years ago on our last visit). Bedrooms and bathrooms are a bit tired looking now. Would return though so on the whole would recommend. Food here is definitely the best attribute of the hotel.

Excellent family hotelPosted Aug 16, 2010
The apartment was perfect for our needs. Family 2 adults 1 teenage son. We had seperate sleeping areas but space to "chill out" together. kitchen and fridge handy. Shower hot and good water pressure. Lovely view. Block E 1st floor. Quiet area of hotel. Food was excellent, abundant, varied and authentic as well as catering for young children's diets. Staff friendly and efficient. Pool large, quite crowded but always a sun bed free. Hotel tough on pre-saving beds with towels which is refreshing! Shuttle service to beach excellent and beach beautiful. Buy a cheap brolly to save beach fees. Lovely walk along coast to next beach, unspoilt by tourism. Evening entertainment more suited to younger families but good quality and not overpowering. We enjoyed a great holiday here.

Very family orientated, with restaurant finishing early and activities geared to children

Hotel excellent, apartments less so.Posted Aug 6, 2008
Arrived late to find that a meal had been kept for us. Were taken to a ground floor apartment that was cramped, in need of refurbishment, smelled of damp and was near the kitchens. Not good! Next morning at reception we were moved without question into a very nice room in the main hotel. All the staff are very helpful, everywhere is spotlessly clean and the food is good. Swimming pool is large and very nice (also children's and indoor pools). The shuttle bus to the beach is very useful - every half hour during the day. We will certainly go again, if possible outside the school holidays.

Nice HotelPosted Oct 26, 2007
Hotel is at the very top of a hill so would not be that suitable for those who do not like climbing. The hotel does provide a minibus service down to the beach though. Generally the food was ok but we did notice a slight decline in the choice as the days went on.

best holiday everPosted Oct 6, 2007
We would definately return, you can not find fault with anything about the hotel. We had a fantastic time, the food was excellent lots to eat and lots of lovely choices. The hotel was of a very high standard, the staff were lovely and friendly, the rooms were spotless. Clean bedding and towels every day, we met some people who had visited time and time again including one man who had been there 20 times. Wonderful!

Will definatley be returning.Posted Aug 19, 2007
The hotel is lovely and the staff are really friendly and speak fantastic English. We arrived late in the evening and they had kept the resturant open with cold buffet for us. There is a good mixture of young and old and my 4 year old had the time of his life and made some great friends. We didnt venture out of the hotel in the evenings because the entertainment was fab. magicians to the Bee Gees. The food is out of this world. We have been on many holidays before but this one will be hard to beat. We had such a bad one the year before in Majorca but this one made up for it. However, i wouldn t go for longer than a week unless you hire a car. It is on a steep hill, although there is a free bus that takes you to the beach and shops in Son Bou but this can get very busy at times. We could not fault anything about the hotel itself and would highly recommend to anyone.

Pretty goodPosted Jul 20, 2007
The entertainment varied from excellent (Chinese acrobats) to 'tentative' (magician only clearly visible form front, trotting out same old tricks) Room generally good, except when maid let in a bird, which did what birds do until I let it out! and a brief plague of ants. Various activities (archery, volleyball, shooting, waterpolo) not particularly well advertised but good fun once you got to know when they were going on (filled up the one overcast day very nicely)
