Brilliant got children and staff extremely helpful

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Children's entertainment was brilliant, adults were included too if you like. Pirate pool fab, splash baby pool brill and adult pool brill. Parks and slides and bouncy castle for children to have a break from the pool. Food and drink lovely. Shop near by if need any essentials . 20 min walk from beach but worth it as lots to do at the marina. Evening entertainment really good too.

Family friendly hotel

Pros: Staff very friendly and happy to help Facilities for young children
Location: Quiet location, 15 minute walk to beach and marina area with small number of shops and restaurants. Supermarkets, waterpark and go karting close by.
Stayed in a one bed self catering apartment for a week in early June, with our children aged 2 and 4. On arrival at Mahon we got a taxi from the airport to the hotel which cost 63 Euros and took about 45 mins. Our room was 1007, ground floor in block 1 behind the splash pool area. View from balcony wasn't great as this room overlooks a road, although not a very busy one. Room perhaps looking a bit tired but it was clean. There are a couple of supermarkets very close by which stock the usual food, drink and every kind of swimming pool inflatable you can think of. We ate in the hotel restaurant on several occasions for the evening buffet (19.50 Euros for an adult, 9.75 Euros for a child and no charge for 2 yr old) and found the food to be good quality. Overall a good holiday, staff were great with the children and facilities for young children are very good i.e. splash pool, playground, bouncy castle.

Nice hotel for a family

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Nice room, a bit noisy due to the night shows until about 10:30pm. The staff was friendly. Pirate pool was really nice. Food was average. Facilities can be better, sauna was not working, wifi was not working, fridge broke, and room hot water did not work! However all were fix and once done it was perfect!

Viva Menorca

Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable and friendly in a great location, excellent children entertainment.
Location: Water park, beach, marina and shops all very good and within easy walking distance. Great sceanery and a lighthouse.
Perfect location for an early summer break with toddlers, we went in May with a two year old and he had the best time. The Pirate Ship was a hit as was the nearby beach. And we enjoyed the Marina and restaurants. Would highly recomend Viva Menorca and Calan Bosch.

Decent hotel, cheap and cheerful. Great food, great staff. Rooms tired, beds terrible, like sleeping on concrete.

Great for families

Posted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: The staff are very friendly and the food is really good. Kids made to feel very welcome
Cons: Evening entertainment is not the best, but most people were just enjoying the evening and not paying much attention
Location: Calan Bosch is nice enough but not amazing. Although we hardly left the poolside which is unusual for us, but just because it was a nice environment
Surprisingly good range of food of good quality. Very geared to families but in a way that parents can enjoy as we'll. definitely worth going all inclusive.

Good for kids who love the pool.

Pros: Pools
Cons: Not for those without kids
Location: A beautiful island - you must have drinks at the lighthouse!
This s a great location for a family holiday. We stayed on a room only basis, seemed many were all inclusive. Hotel staff are very friendly. It has two great pools and staff are always keeping the place clean and tidy. Rooms are comfortable and clean although a little tired around the edges. Only small thing was that they kept running out of ice-creams.

A great hotel choice

Posted Aug 1, 2013
Pros: We went self catering but you had an option to upgrade to all inclusive which was brilliant , we had the best of both worlds.
Cons: Ants, which appeared in the kitchen daily
Location: Great. local to bus stops, supermarkets and a 10 minute walk to the marina and 15 minutes walk to the local beach.
We had a great holiday.. We went self catering and all equipment we needed was there. We ate at the marina on a night which was quite reasonably priced and lovely. We upgraded on the last 3 days to all inclusive which was a good option to have £48 per adult & £22 per child) which was very good ( great cocktails too) Seperated into two complexes, gives variety for pools, both of which were great. Usual sunbed issues, but pirate pool operated a 1hour return policy, all hotels should do this!! Kids entertainment was laid back, and not operated on a daily basis but that wasn't an issue for us. The adults entertainment was very Spanish, singing/dancing which we all really enjoyed..and no bingo!! Overall great holiday choice for us. Thats if you want a relaxed, quiet family holiday.
