The location was well maintained, but here were downsides. Breakfast was served in the basement only reachable by stairs. There were tasty items in the menu, but why the location? Was told they were going to delete very our dinner to the room but found it at the door drop pick up spot--even after paying in advance with a 30 percent tip.

Beds were very uncomfortable and hard. Pillows were very small and not very fluffy. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Outside and inside hotel was cute and quaint. The beds ruined the stay though. Did not sleep well.

I did not spend much time at the Mentor Best Western Plus. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and quiet. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel, not far off the highway, so made a great over night stop on our travels. Property is clean, bed comfortable, and a good breakfast that was open early for us travelers. Gladly recommend to others.

Very well run. Room was clean and quiet. Heat worked well. Breakfast was great with omelets, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit and excellent coffee. WiFi was very fast. Large suite type room with two TVs and sitting area. An incredible value. I am very critical and can’t find anything to criticize!

There had been a wedding and they put us right near where they would walk by our room. Worst night sleep at a hotel.

It was my third year bringing the new year at Best Western Plus Mentor. I love the peace and quiet. The suites are always nice and clean. I love the area too. It’s not far from the highway, shopping, plenty of restaurants. There’s also a movie theater not too far away from the hotel. I would definitely recommend it. I don’t this you would e disappointed.

The only issue is that when we checked in on the 23rd, I told the front desk we would only be staying for 3 nights. They said that since we booked through Expedia, we could not cancel the 4th night, and we got stuck for it. We tried to contact Expedia, but got no satisfaction. I will never book anything trrough Expedia again.

The historical hotel is going through some changes as they have leased out the bar and restaurant. Thank goodness they have retained Anne who is an absolute gem.
