Pros: Location
Cons: sound proofing
We were going to Rock and roll Hall of Fame and this hotel was next to highway to downtown, walking distance to restaurants and a quick drive to shopping. We were on the first floor and it was noisy at night as smokers were outside our room and sometimes quite loud. Don't know why we both got handicapped rooms but was not an issue.

Nice hotel near freeways, shopping and attractions

Pros: I liked the new interior and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The parking lot filled quickly and we had to park at a nearby fast food restaurant.
Location: The city center and shopping were nearby. We had easy access to the freeways that follow the lakeshore.
The hotel has been recently renovated. It feels clean and new. The restaurant was okay, the food was acceptable but not great. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Home for All Class Reunion Banquet

Pros: The proximity to where we needed to be and the helpfullness of the staff.
We were checked into room 145 for the handicap that had a tub instead of a shower with a shower seat. It had a king size bed instead of the 2 full size beds. When we asked about that we were told that "All of their handicap rooms had a King size bed." My wife who .had a spontaneous break of her right Femur in Oct, 2010 has trouble climbing in or walking up steps. When we notify the front desk about the need for a shower chair and none could be found. We were offered a handicap room with a roll in shower with a bench which we accepted. The next morning after turning the water on for my wife and she started showering, she asked me to turn the hot water down. The handle had gotten loose and couldn't be adjusted. When she got done and dressed I called the front desk and the manager came to fix the handle because maintenance was not in yet. He apologized for the problem and treated us to breakfast. The staff was real helpful to us and we would stay there again.

Older Hotel-but great location

Hotel was very comfortable, but was a little worn. There was only one elevator working. Put us across from a very loud ice machine. Asked to be moved and was but the elevator closest to the room was out of order. No one knew why. Room was a little worn,bathroom needed updated.

Comfortable, clean, and wonderful staff !!!!

I loved my room. After such a long and hot drive in from Buffalo, I slept like a baby. Beds were so comfortable, and I had my choice of firm pillows or soft pillows. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Chris who was working at the front desk was so amazing. He printed out two maps with steps of directions for me in about three minutes. Also great restaurants within walking distance. Definitely would return without hesitation !!!! Thank you Holiday Inn, Cleveland Northeast-Mentor

I had two rooms and we truly enjoyed our stay! The bed spread was dirty but when asked to fix it they came within minutes. The hotel was clean and the staff could not have been nicer !

Nice room, noisy neighbors

The staff was very helpful. We had a problem with a group of kids in the next room over making noise and front desk handled the situation. Additionally, I left something behind in the room after we checked out. I called the hotel and they found my item and sent it to me via UPS.

Nice Hotel good location.

Pros: Every thing was clean and well maintained. The staff was very professional and polite.
Cons: Front desk needs to be trained on local destinations, especially restaurants. That way they can make better recommendations.
Location: I was traveling for business and didn't spend much time out. however The lake is only a ten minute drive north
Overall experience was pleasant I was very tired by the time I arrived but check in was quick and easy. Same with check out in the morning. Everything was clean and ready for me. I will definitely come back again. I do wish the front desk had a little more training in regards to local destinations. I wanted to eat at a restaurant on Lake Erie with a good view of the water and they recommended a restaurant near the lake but on the river.
