“Going to Merida? Stay here.”

What a great place to stay in Merida. Very roomy,beautiful grounds and pool, helpful and friendly staff. Great location in the historic area with traditional dancing in Plaza across the street. Secured parking was nice as well. Short walk to the central plaza and good restaraunts (the hotel resaraunt was good as well). The staff even arranged a cave diving trip for me to one of the local cenotes.

“Affordable, charming and conveniently located”

Very nice little hotel, with big rooms and all services like safety deposit boxes, swimming pool and parking lot. Within walking distance from all the downtown and interesting areas to see. Good service from the hotel staff. Meals are not extraordinary but restaurants are close by. Continental breakfast was included, but stay away from the orange juice. Good coffee machine with excellent results. I would go back any time.

“Great Hotel”

The staff at the Casa Lucia Hotel was outstanding. They met every request, obtained our bus tickets for the trip back to Cancun, served us drinks at the pool, even ran somewhere? to get us an evening cocktail of Mescal. The hotel's location in the old town was perfect, about 2 blocks from the main plaza so we were not bothered with the sounds of traffic or happenings in the plaza. A small market was next door to the hotel so we could pick up snacks, wine, sunscreen, etc. at any time. The room and bathroom were large and beautifully decorated. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to stay there again when we return to that area.

“Would stay here again”

The Casa Lucia Hotel is very pretty and charming, located conveniently in the old area of Merida. The rooms are clean, spacious, and lovely with decorative painting on the walls, pretty white bed covers, mosquito netting, and tile floors. I have stayed in two rooms at separate times. One room did have a musty odor upon arriving, but was nearly done away with by opening the windows and having the fan on. I think the humidity contributes to this problem. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I miss the delicious cafe con leche I was served every morning at breakfast! I would reccommend this hotel, with the statement that your room might be musty--or not, depending on which room--but I really enjoyed my stay there and would go again.

Our room was great, the courtyard was even better, the staff took care of all our needs with a smile. The restraunt was excellent, both service and food. could not ask for a better bargin.

“Charming Gem in the City”

Very personable. Great local. Live music and dancing across the street in the courtyard. ATM and convenience store right next door. Rental cars 1 block away. We wanted to dine al fresco, so the waitstaff set up our own table by the pool on request. Food very good. I would go back!

Casa Lucia is very well located, and a beautiful property. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food and bar service were first-rate. Would like to stay there again.
