Exceptional hotel.Posted Oct 15, 2013
Pros: Picturesque setting. You walk in from the street and feel like you in another, quiet, world.
Location: Museums. Plaza. Church. Government showcase.
I never write reviews but this was an extraordinary find. A lovely place with great art and design. Lots of private space and a couple of blocks from 3 days of activities. Management and team were 100%. I'll stay there again.

Oasis in the heart of the cityPosted Aug 6, 2013
From the friendly staff to the gorgeous hotel, we loved everything about our stay. It really is an oasis in the heart of the city. After a hot day checking out all Marida has to offer, we loved the tranquil feel of the hotel and enjoyed taking a dip in the pool while sipping a cocktail. We had a fantastic stay!

Great Boutique Hotel.....and then some.Posted Jul 21, 2013
Pros: Staff actually enjoyed having you as a guest.
Location: Great Locations close to the Centre of the City
Hotel Hacienda Merida is a little paradise behind their flat façade with a door. Once you walk through the front door you are greeted with a smile and an amazing boutique experience. The place is clean and attention to detail is clearly at the top of their list. The staff are friendly and will do whatever it takes to make sure that your stay is both memorable and enjoyable. Thank you to Johnathon and Arturo both made our stay that much more enjoyable. Nice rooms, great common areas and their breakfast was one of the best on the trip. We will stay here again when in Merida!

Tranquil and beautifully renovated haciendaPosted Jul 3, 2013
Pros: Tranquil atmosphere
Cons: No drinking water from the taps (I think this a common problem in Mexico) but the hotel provided complimentary bottled water
Location: A couple of blocks from the main square. The hotel car park is only a few metres away.
Beautifully renovated hacienda which provides an escape from the busy streets of Merida. The staff were friendly and were knowledgeable about local points of interest for tourists. The breakfast was simple but tasty.

Beautiful hotel, great location, gracious servicePosted May 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were in town for 4 days. The hotel is lovely, the staff is very helpful. This place is near-perfect. The ONLY real complaints I had were a spotty Internet connection, a noisy air conditioner and mediocre breakfast. Everything else was great, and we were very pleased with our stay.

Good LocationPosted Apr 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Air conditioner barely adequate, Temp. 102 on arrival; air turned off. Took hours to get cool. Maid turned off when preping the room each day. Lighting in hall and stairs inadequate at nite. Wife fell. Bruised.Staff extremly friendly and helpful which helped to overcome these deficiencies.

An oasis in the heart of MeridaPosted Apr 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our journey to this part of Mexico started so beautifully with our stay at the Hacienda. The pool was lovely, the drinks from the bar perfect and our daily breakfast (Mexican version) was delicous and set us up for our adventures along the Puuc trail.

Quite lovely, super breakfasts, a shame that the beds were very hard, though we found this to be common throughout Mexico.
