Posada Toledo Hotel & Gallery was originally a French-style private residence, built in the late nineteenth century and inhabited by one of the most prominent families in Yucatán during the height of the sisal industry.
This house has been adapted over time to offer a hosting service with the facilities of the XXI century but with an environment of more than 200 years of history.
The hotel has an indoor garden surrounded by corridors framed by arches and columns and high ceilings with beams. Floors and walls are decorated with original mosaics, typical of the beautiful French architecture of that ancient time.
The corridors are also adorned with furniture of very fine hand carved wood that match the high doorways
