“Beautiful Hacienda-style hotel”

Terrific place. Unbeatable location, great service, good sheets. Not all the comforts of home in the sense that there is no TV and the Wi-fi doesn't make it to the guest rooms, but a five minute walk from Uxmal and good food -- what more do you want? The beds might be cramped for someone over 6-3, but otherwise enjoy!

“Magical!”

We were welcomed with old world grace, and a glass of cold juice, harbingers of good things to come. Rooms are arranged around an inner courtyard planted with palms, tropical trees and fragrant flowers. Our room was small but comfortable, with tiled floors, and archeological prints. Our window looked into a garden, and our door opened on to the pretty pool area. We were steps away from the Mayan archeological ruins at Uxmal, so going to the sound and light show involved only a starlight stroll. Dinner in the courtyard under the stars. No crowds, no rush, no traffic - just dignified service in a beautiful setting. Astonishing value. Recommended for travellers with an interest in culture and history.

A very secure and comfortable feeling. Had not paid attention that there was no tv and my cellphone did not work. That was a problem. All else very quiet and close to the archeological site - almost inside -. Staff extremely gracious. Definitely would return.

“Very Good!”

For its price you can't expect anything better! Everybody was very nice too. Only two complains: 1) at check in I was "invited" to sign a blank credit card ticket (at check out it was shredded); 2) wi-fi worked on the 1st day. On the 2nd I could not access internet.

“Definitively the place to stay when you visit Uxmal”

Hotel is within walking distance of the Uxmal site. Staff very service oriented. Excellent place to stay for one or two days before you move on to other sites. Food is good and rooms are much better than you might think (poor communication on US sites; check european sites to get a better idea...)

“Villa Arquelogicas Company Very Accommodating”

On a recent drive from Tulum to Villa Uxmal, our daughter was sick so we stopped at Villa Arqueologica Chichen Itza to see about staying. The manager, Francisco, was very accommodating and immediately honored the reservation we were holding at Uxmal. The hotel was lovely, with clean, simple rooms and nice swimming pool. The location within several minute walk from the entrance to Chichen Itza was perfect--we could explore the ruins and when it would get too hot we would head back to the hotel for a cooling swim and good meal. The hotel is a great value, and the staff, Francisco in particular, was particularly friendly and helpful.

the hotel is good and its quiet love the fact that is so close to the ruins and is a good place to just relax and be yourself friendly staff although a little bit slow but ok

“Perfect location in Uxmal”

Excellent location and friendly and responsive staff. simple but good mexican food. Small bedroom which lack proper ventilation although AC is available.

This motel is not fancy but it is clean and quaint. It is a great stay for a night or two while visiting the ruins which are just a couple hundred feet outside your door.
