Fantastic hotel. Simple but beautifully designed and stylishly modern.
Lovely rooms with an outside shower. The hotel has a stunning central. Courtyard with pool and lounge chairs, a real oasis to return to. Breakfast was simple but very tasty and all the staff were absolutely chArming. The only criticism we could make was that the hot water pressure was very low which made having a shower a bit of a challenge.
All in all we loved casa las Palomas and would highly recommend it. It represented exceptional value for money, and was a charming and restful place to stay.

The pictures on the website did not do the Hacienda justice. It was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived until check-out everything and every detail was perfect. The Hacienda is very well kept as well as the grounds. The staff is extremely friendly, curteous, helpful and attentive. Our room was very clean and always decorated with fresh cut flowers. Every time we left our room it was quickly refreshed. Our private plunge pool in our private garden was icing on the cake. The dining was exceptional. We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts as well as superb dinner experiences. Out of our 6 night Yucatan trip Hacienda Santa Rosa was by far the best. We would return in a heart beat and definitely recommend it to anyone. The experience is well worth the splurge. This is indulgence at its finest.

Few boutique hotels appreciate and anticipate guests needs quite like Casa Azul. From that air-conditioners that actually work, and well, to the flexibility of the restaurant's menu and their ability to take requests at almost all hours of the day and night, this place understands what international travelers really want. The ambience is quaint, colonial, charming, and relaxing. We used the small pool every day for several hours. The staff work efficiently enough that there was never a pause or length of time between any request and the fulfillment of it. I could easily go on about every detail of our experience, but suffice it it to say, we will definitely be back. Although Merida didn't capture us as far as a destination we might return to, Casa Azul is a must for any traveler. You'd pay triple the cost for the same value in the states. Next time I need a getaway, I'll fly to Merida and check in here, even if I never leave the property.

The Hacienda is a short drive from the city of Merida, but it is like an oasis in a small town. Iona and JR made us feel like family, and were so helpful. The Hacienda is like a luxurious step back in time. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the grounds are private and delightful, and the food is outstanding; be sure to try Iona's margaritas. We are heading back there soon!

Loved the hotel, had a fabulous experience with the first ever Temescal. Only reason to give the "4" rating is the dining staff tried to insist we have the buffet for dinner - we were not part of a tour and did not have to. I really hate buffets. Ultimately I insisted on al la carte and the maitre d' finally came over and told the waiter we could have the al la carte.

I never write reviews but this was an extraordinary find. A lovely place with great art and design. Lots of private space and a couple of blocks from 3 days of activities. Management and team were 100%. I'll stay there again.
