The entire experience was a nightmare. I used this company to book our room, mistake #1. CLEARLY, anyone can list anything, that they deem sleep-able, as a room. Our first room key opened the door to a room that was piled with clothes and was about 95 degrees. The second key opened the door to a room that was about 90 degrees and smelled so bad we couldn’t even walk across the room. After reporting this one to management they offered us another room. My husband told them that they could just give us a refund but of course they can’t because we booked through this company. Management said that if we would look at room #3, should we decline, they would not contest it when they were contacted. We were escorted to the room, which was about 80 degrees with the a/c running. It didn’t smell as bad as the other and appeared to be slightly cleaner, so in an extremely exhausted state, we accepted the room. We discovered that ALL of the knobs were removed from the a/c unit so that wasn’t getting any better. The woman who escorted us returned, unprompted, with a candle and air freshener. That should tell you the condition of the air. We decided that we could stay long enough to get a good nap then get back on the road. I checked the shower and it wasn’t filthy so I decided to jump in. When I removed my shoes, I realized where the odor was coming from. The carpet was beyond funky. We literally kept our shoes on the entire time, only removed for the shower and the bed. Not done….
