We stayed overnight at hotel. it was close to interstate which I liked. Don"t like driving miles to find hotel. It was close to mall which was very convenient. Hotel was in the perfect location. Staff was very kind during our stay.

Close to interstate

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: I liked the convenience of the location. It is right off the interstate. Also the staff is friendly.
Cons: Better attention from housekeeping when cleaning the room
We arrived at the hotel late at night. The hotel wasn't our final destination. It was just a stopover for the night. The staff was friendly, but the room was dirty from trash left in it. There was soap and shampoo left from the previous occupant on the side of the tub. There was an empty food bowl on the floor under the dresser. To be fair both of these were where you wouldn't notice them right off. The soap and shampoo was hidden behind the open shower curtain. The hotel was completely booked so requesting a room change was not an option. And we were very tired and had pre-booked the reservation, so leaving also wasn't an option. So we made the best of it. We didn't eat breakfast there or use any of the other facilities, so I can't comment on them.

Last resort option

Posted Jul 26, 2014
We arrived in Meridian to discover our Holiday Inn reservation had been lost, so we had to scramble at 11pm to find another pet-friendly option and this was it. Unfortunately, it had a filthy bathroom with no hot water and the phone didn't even work to notify the front desk. We stayed no longer than absolutely necessary and got back on the road. About the best we should have expected for a late-night, last-minute booking in Meridian, MS...

Pros: The room was a good size, and it was very clean.
Cons: The internet connection and repairing the lock on the side door.
Location: I don't know. I was passing through and used it to sleep and eat only. I ordered Dominoes if that helps others staying.
The overall stay here was excellent. The only minor issues I had were that the lock on the side entrance did not work, and it was reported to the desk clerk. I went around and propped it open since my room was located there. Also, in the morning, I could not get on to the internet to check the traffic and weather conditions. I used it fins he night before, but in the morning, the connection was not there at all.

Ok hotel for an overnight stay.

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: It was cheap for one nights stay.
Cons: The smell of smoke is so strong.
Location: I loved the Weidmans Resturant, it was close to motel.
If you need a decent, overall clean hotel for one night, this one is fine. It is nothing fancy, the rooms have been updated, except for the bathroom. There is a strong smell of smoke in the hallways, the room was heavily sprayed with air freshener. I would spend extra money for a different hotel, only due to the smoke smell, not the cleaness of the motel. If you smoke shouldn't be a problem.

Comfort after a long drive

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Cons: Dogs running rapid........A separate entrance/exit needed since the common area is sooooooo small
Location: Close to the interstate
The room was comfortable and breakfast was average. Big dislike is that there were dogs everywhere. It seemed as if everyone had dogs, big and small barking and trying to claim stake.

Bring your own bleach

I stayed with my 3 young children and after a long day of travel had promised them pool time. The pool water was a yellowish green color and there were cigarette butts in the pool area. The bed was clean and comfy but the carpet def needs to be replaced as it had stains and was nasty. I will not stay there again.
