Most comfortable bed

Pros: the bed
Cons: remodel
Location: conveniently near out family
This was the most comfortable bed in a motel that I have ever experienced. The room did need some updating mostly in the bathroom.

Pros: It was close to where we wanted to be and the rates were reasonable!
Cons: Cleanliness!
Non-smoking room smelled so bad of smoke. Grout in shower and shower curtain had mildew on them. The room had not been cleaned very good. Countertop was coming off!

Okay place to stay

Location: IKEA is a short drive away.
The room seemed clean, but there some very evident patch work on my room's wall. They didn't even paint the patches to match the rest of the wall.

Don't stay here

Old outdated and dirty. Crud on bath fixtures to trash left on floor number of reasons to avoid. Price was cheap.

Middle of the Road

Pros: Very close to the plaza and only a $10 taxi ride there.
Cons: Make sure the nonsmoking rooms remain nonsmoking.
Location: Half Price Books fairly close, plaza within 10 minutes and power and light district a $26 cab ride away
It was easy to find and nice grounds. It was a little older hotel but still very nice and clean. Loved that the room had a full size refrigerator, stove and microwave and a comfy chair to relax in. It would be a nice place if staying for a few days at the same place. The only issue we had was one of the rooms we reserved was supposed to be a non-smoking room and it smelled like smoke when we walked in so obviously someone had smoked in there.

No frills clean stay

Pros: Price, convenience, location
The hotel is pretty basic but not bad, just don't expect a lot of amenities. It's fine for what it is, though, a good value and well-located. It's right next to I-35 so the interstate traffic is audible, which I liked, but it might be a good idea to take earplugs.

The highway is noisy at night but otherwise great place! Just try to avoid the side by the highway.

Pros: Nothing
Not a good experience. We have stayed at Extended Stay in other cities and have been very pleased. This one started out with the clerk, rude, not helpful at all. The room was horrible, smelled like smoke (Supposed to be a non smoking room). Turned on heater, set off the smoke alarm, carpet was filthy dirty, dirt in kitchen and bathroom. Holes in ceiling, tried to repair, did a horrible job. Not satisfied at all with this stay. We ended up staying another night, and went to another hotel. I normally do not complain, but this was one of the worst rooms.

You get what you pay for.

Pros: It was fairly close to our destination with shopping and restaurants nearby.
Cons: They need to have more staff on-hand, so someone is in the lobby at all times. The staff should be fully trained. A Manger should always be available
Location: The Crown Center and downtown areas have a lot do and see. WW I museum, Hallmark visitor's center and shopping center, stores, City market
It took over 20 minutes to get checked in. They were booked solid and had only one clerk to check guests in, answer phones, etc. The cleaning staff couldn't keep up so she had to physically walk out to a room to see if it was ready. Our room was fairly clean, dingy towels and water damage under the sinks. It missing an ironing board and shower curtain. The breakfast was "grab and go". Terrible fruit, dry granola bars, and oatmeal. I don't recall seeing that on the site. We stayed two nights. On the second night (about 1:00 a.m.) our key cards wouldn't work. We waited for a clerk for about 15 minutes and had to call the 800 number to reach someone. They contacted the Manager who called in to help the clerk (who showed up about 10 minutes later) re-program our cards. He said he wasn't even trained to run the front desk. Our cards still didn't work so I suggested he use his Master to let us in.
