First floor room smelled like old wet towel

Cons: Cleanliness, breakfast area, front desk could be nicer too
Location: Didn't look very safe
The room was very specious, but super dark fabrics made it look dingy. The most disappointing part was the smell of the room; it smelled like old wet towel soaked in bleach because of the indoor pool on the first floor. We opened windows to get some fresh air before we went to sleep but couldn't keep them open because hotel surroundings didn't look very safe. The breakfast area is so small and tight everybody bumped into each other, it only had 4 tables!!!!

In the area of numerous hotels available, we were happy with our choice here. The rate was affordable and the room very comfortable. We look forward to staying here on our way through for years to come.

There were 2 problems. When I reserved the room, I asked to have a crib. When I checked in there wasn't a crib available. They said they only had one. I wouldn't have reserved the room if there wasn't a crib. They are lucky I had a pack in play with me or I would have been more angry. The other problem was there was a little hair on the sheets when I got into the room. So I am not sure if the sheets were cleaned or maybe it was the cleaning service but regardless kind of gross. Otherwise the hotel was just fine.

Never again will I stay here

I usually stay at a neighboring hotel; however that hotel was booked so I stayed at the Best Western. The staff could not communicate clearly and they did not seem to care. I did not get the room that I booked online and they said it was not their problem. The halls were noisy all night. There was a crying baby in the room above me that I could hear like it was in my room. The bathroom was not very clean. There was almost no toilet paper and 1/4 of a box of Kleenexes. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone. Customer Service at Best Western was not very helpful. They did apologize but due to the management of the hotel they claimed that there was nothing that they could do. Avoid this one and stay at one of the other hotels that are within the same block.
