Nice hotel near I65

Pros: cleanliness, comfort.
Location: Shopping, restaurants and entertainment were all close by.
I had 2 request, both were filled no problem. Clean well kept hotel, with friendly staff.

Wonderful outdoor area

Wonderful everything! Loved how quiet and peaceful our stay was. I had a silly encounter with a giant bull frog by the pond. It was so big and completely still that I thought it was a fake statue of a frog. I threw a piece of ice at it to see if it would move and that thing turned around slowly and faced me rared back opened its mouth and jumped at me like it was gonna eat me up! Nice guard frog courtyard Marriott :) lol I'll never forget that! 5 stars for this hotel!

a hotel that has no elevator and peeling paint

Very old hotel. No elevator. Must be in condition to walk up stairways to the 2nd floor. my executive room had bathroom ceiling paint peeling off and all over the floor. Not a big deal if this was not exec room at a C.M., but unfortunately I had a better expectation. Told front desk of the room condition. The night staffs offerred to change the room but I declined. I just did not get the impression that other rooms will be in better condition. They said "OK then." Hmmm. Breakfast was good. Bed was good. Other? Average. Will I stay here again? No. There are 3 star motels that had better comforts.

Pros: Breakfast and the bed
Location: great location. near restaurants, gas, and shopping.
close to good restaurants. the breakfast was one of the best I have had and the hostess was polite and keep the area very clean.

Disappointed

Although the staff and hotel itself was great, I was disappointed in a few things. First, the website claimed there was a restaurant in the hotel (which was great because I wanted the option if room service) when in fact there was not. There was a free hot breakfast bar and it was fantastic, but that wasn't what I was looking for. Second, the mattress in the room was awful... It was way too soft, and it took two days for me to work out the backache that I got from it. Other than those two issues, the stay was good...

Thank you for the feed back on your recent visit. My apologies for the miscommunication about our breakfast restaurant. We do only serve breakfast out of the kitchen each day. However, there are many places to eat very close by and several that also deliver. Each person is different when it comes to the personal preference of mattresses. We try and provide a comfort level right in the middle of firm and soft.

Family Reunion

I felt like I was at home. I did have a problem with drainage in the bathroom sink but it was fixed immediately. The friendly and caring staff eased the transition of my two day stay.
