Radisson Hotel At Star Plaza

This area has few choices of hotels, so it was a bit expensive for the age/quality. It has an indoor pool with water feature that was great for the kids. Clean enough, easy free parking but seemed a little "tired".

While the hotel when you enter is very pretty, the pool was freezing. There are no hot tubs as advertised. Also, the remote for the bed control was only working on one side of the number bed. No linen in the room or on the fold out couch for my son. No continental breakfast. The room was very clean. Small bathroom very difficult for 2 people to comfortably get ready in at the same time. Staff was friendly and pleasant.

We stayed for 2 nights and the room was never cleaned after the 2nd night and 2 requests. The walls seemed surpsingly thin and we could hear just about every conversation next door.

Staff was extremely pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Room was very comfortable and clean although I would have liked a microwave. Variety of restaurants to choose from - great food. Only two issues: pool location in lower lobby made the air temp a little too cool (too cold if you're wet) but otherwise beautiful and temp of water warm. Second, took 7-9 minutes for hot water to come for showers and baths but this was explained by maintenance as due to low occupancy.

DID NOT GET ROOMS THAT HAD BEEN CONFIRMED--CORRIDORS WERE VERY HOT AND CARPET WAS DIRTY--MISSED THE MINITURE GOLF PUTTING---TOO LONG AT AT FRONT DESK TRYING TO FIND TWO ROOMS AS THERE WERE NO ROOMS AVAILABLE AS REQUESTED AND CONFIRMED AND PAID FOR--HAVE STAYED MANY TIMES AT RADDISON AND WAS COMPLETED SATISFIED--THIS WAS A LET DOWN

Very comfortable, clean room with sleep number bed. Excellent experience. Our room was at the back of the hotel by the loading dock and was very quiet. Did not use any of the other facilities so can't comment on those. Just off I-65, convenient for variety of restaurants.
