Disappointing
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Pros: It was freshly painted. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: amenities
Location: There are a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby.
I realize this hotel wasn't the most expensive but, it also wasn't the cheapest. No hair dryer, no coffeemaker, no shampoo, lotion, or even a box of tissues. We were forced to use to ice maker at the hotel next door. Ours was broken and not even a note was posted. Vent in bathroom didn't work. There also was a dirty towel left hanging on the back of the bathroom door from the occupants. I was extremely disappointed and will not be staying there again.

Avoid.

Pros: Great restaurant next door- get as many drinks as possible, go back to the hotel, and lock your doors.
Ice maker was broken, there wasn't any coffee for breakfast (and no offer to refill once I informed the front desk receptionist - she stood there watching and never offered to help at peak of breakfast-time), no iron available as in description (and no follow-up when staff said they would search the hotel). In other words, we never got one and I doubt anyone looked. Staff was unwelcoming and the crowd staying there was sketchy. Lighting in the hotel was awful (no bedside table lamps but dreadful fluorescent lighting), cheap fridge that wouldn't cool, and the coffee maker was dirty and there wasn't a carafe.

Not the best place I have stayed!
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: How it looked on the outside, needs updating!
The hotel really needs to be updated and we have to move out of our room at midnight in cold weather because the heat stop working. The ironing board was stained and the iron they gave us burnt our clothes.

Good hotel needs repairs
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: location in relation to restaraunts, shopping
Cons: close to highly traveled highway
Location: Great location. Close to everything I needed.
The exterior and interior are in need of some minor appearance repairs. Both are starting to show their age. The rooms are clean but overall the hotel needs updating.

Wouldn't stay here again
Posted Jan 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
It worked, but was not pleasant. There appear to be many other motels in the area, so I would go someplace else next time. This was a stopover trip, so we weren't too picky. The rooms weren't ready until mid afternoon. The bathroom wasn't very clean, but it wasn't a total mess either. Loud Highway noise. When we got there, the heater was off and room was freezing, we turned on the heat, then boiled about midnight. not a good thermostat.

Clean but horrible accommodations and bad customer
Posted Jan 13, 2013
Location: Right next to the expressway
My husband and I just wanted a night away and decided on the red roof in only because we got a good deal on a discount website so we didn't expect the best. When we arrived the host at the front desk wasn't friendly and very blunt. My husband asked for an extra pillow before we left the desk and they don't have extra pillows(so beware). We headed to our room and the room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a fridge and a microwave so we did decide to bring some cans of soda and snacks but when we went to get ice from the only ice machine for our warm soda the machine was broken and not to mention the room the machine was in smelled like urine, gross. The next morning wasn't pleasant at all when my husband and I woke up to house keeping pounding at our door at 8 am, check out isn't until 12pm. We will definitely will do our research before we select another red roof inn. I really wouldn't recommend staying at this location because of the customer service and not being able to accommodate the guest with simple needs.
