“Wanting to come back”

We will definitely stay at this hotel our next trip to Merrillville. Our stay was comfortable and convenient to places we wanted to go.

“OK hotel...not much for a family.”

The place was clean and close to shopping and restaurants. Just a few minutes off the interstate.

“very well located, near shopping center and restaurants”

with the exception of a slow drain in the shower that was fixed the next day, i would stay there again. its location and access to main highways is a real plus. its clean and reasonably comfortable for the price.

“Not to bad for the price!”

For the price and convenience it was ok, was suppose to have a queen but it looked more like a full. Got a smoking room with no ashtray in it and when we asked for one they never brought it. No elevator so pack light....

“Motel for the Budget Conscious”

The room was reasonably clean and it was obvious that some maintenance had been done. However, the motel still has an old feel to it. Our biggest problem was that the aircon couldn't get the temp below about 78 and seemed to be quite underpowered for the size of the room. It was 92 outside. TV channel selection was basic and a Styrofoam cup had replaced the carafe in the coffeemaker. It was the cheapest motel in the area.

“not bad for the price”

Front desk and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was not the greatest--same every day.. I had a smoking room because I had a pet along--not ever being a smoker, it was really a strong smoke order. It took three days for smell to mellow out.

“Less than desireable”

The first night I was given a room that had no air conditioning because they said they had been overbooked by on-line agencies. They did offer a fan for that night, and did move me to an different roon the next night. That first night was horrible because I was hot and very tired before I got the room. I know you can imagine my frustration and there was no mention of a reduced rate for my inconvience. Also, they should not advertise that breakfast if offered. What was offered is english muffins, mini donuts, coffee and juice. At best it was a continental breakfast of sorts.
