I called ahead for early check in. I was told there was 2 rooms available but when I got to the property I was told I had to wait until 4pm because there wasn’t any rooms ready. I waited 30 min and went back at 4 and was told it still wasn’t ready. I had to wait another 20 minutes before we finally got our room.

The service was no great , didn’t get what I booked , the remote wasn’t working , called twice and no one cared to get some batteries for such an easy fix. The room was the handicap accessible room with two queens instead of 1 king non smoking room. Didn’t expect to pay for parking. On a good note the room was clean and well kept as well as the area.

I stayed at the property to attend an out of town basketball game. The staff was friendly and helpful, room was very clean, and the property was cared for. Not the most picturesque neighborhood, but convenient to the highway and East Dallas. If I needed to be in that part of the city for a future game, I would def stay there again.

They charged for parking. I did not see this while booking. They have a huge parking lot that wasn’t even half full. The two hotels across the street have free parking. I will not stay at this Hampton inn anymore.

I am very upset about the parking. The last time I stayed in your Inn, I was not told that I had to scan to park and received a $60.00 parking ticket. I would like to know why you have to pay to park. I feel that should be part of the cost of the room. I do not think I will stay there again. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when we had issues with the TV (you may want to include instructions on how to work the TV with the other info provided with the key card). We are local, but we wanted a getaway and went to an event at the rodeo center, so staying at the hotel was convenient. The only complaint I have is being charged for parking. I understand the issues with parking because of the convention center/rodeo events, but charging guests at the hotel is not the solution. I recommend a placard or something else to identify that the car belongs to a PAYING guest at the hotel. The only time I have ever had to pay for parking is when it is located in a downtown area. Please go back to free parking. Other than that, the stay was SUPERB.
