La Quinta Inn & Suites Dallas/Mesquite

The first room that was given to me had urine in the toilet seat and someone had clipped their toenails and left the clippings in the carpet. I called the front desk and told them, they put us in another room. For the inconvenience, they even upgraded ourroom at no additional charge. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My only complaint was the A/C vents in the rooms are very very dirty. I would recommend the hotel to other family and friends.

The room smelled ultra musty and moist. The air felt and smelled like the air in a room with a pool in it. But it was a comfy bed with a good shower and bathroom.. The TV was awful. It either needs to be completely re-calibrated or replaced.

The hotel manager on staff that checked me in was very nice and pleasant. She was very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was clean and tidy and had nice amenities like a flat screen and nice bathroom. The only complaint that I have was that the room had previously been smoked in. But I went into a friends room down the hall and theirs was fine - not smoked in.

We had a very good stay in Mesquite. The continental breakfast was a nice surprise.

I was very disappointed in this hotel! I felt very unsafe and was disgusted at the actual hotel room... Very disappointing!

Room, comfort, and cleanliness was fine. BUT for a multi-night stay, our room key was several times coded for single night stay, which required us to make several return trips to the deskt to get a working key. Also, scammers were able to phone our room directly, getting around the hotel switchboard.
