Super staff!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It felt like we were staying as a guest at someones home. The best part of this stay was the staff. Franchesca was a true pleasure. She made sure our stay was perfect and was always working day and night to make sure everyone was happy. Her mother Giusy was wonderful as well. She ran the breakfast in the mornings and helped out with guests as well. Was a great experience from staying at a regular hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Great property with very kind and helpful staff. Location perfect for visiting Etna, Taormina and other attractions, close to the very nice beach. Rooms are nice and comfortable, just rooms have a bit thin walls, but overall we would stay here again.

Good Stay
Hotel was simple. We were under the impression that there would be dinner each night, but it's only available on the weekends. The room was very clean and simple. The breakfast was delicious! Fresh, homemade croissants each morning! The only downside was the the dark driveway. Coming back late at night involved unlocking/locking the gate, parking and then walking up to the rooms. It made me a bit nervous (and I'm a NYer) with how dark the property was at night. This was not a dealbreaker, but something to think about.

Clean, great view but not sea view
The place is beautiful and in a beautiful location. The breakfast is good. Unfortunately, our room was right at the entrance so everyone passed back and forth and it was noisy. Also, wi-fi didn't work in the room, only near reception area. And of course sea view is only from the rooms at the top floor of the main building but not any other room. The owner seemed totally indifferent to the fact that our room stated "sea view".

Wonderful location and accommodations.
The owner Maria and the staff Juicy were outstanding. Maria wanted to make sure all of our accommodations were outstanding from the location and the comfort of the room to the meals served, The breakfast was great using local fruit and other products. The view of Mt. Etna was great each day..Highly recommend them.

A Beautiful Stay
Antico Borgo is a charming place to stay, all the staff are very helpful and they put a lot of effort in making their guests' stay as pleasant as possible.The 'Agriturismo' is beautifully located amongst lemon trees at the foot of Mount Etna. The breakfast was delicious as was the dinner served on one of the nights of our stay. Also the neighbouring village, Calatabiano is very charming and worth a visit. Overall a very nice experience and I would definitely recommend if visiting the area.

Lovely setting and location.
Great service with the hotel in touch during the day advising us of the impacts of the G7 summit on the access to Taormina, as well as helping us with information on tours of Mount Etna. Advice on best restaurants to eat at nearby and dietary requirements accommodated well at breakfast time. Orange and lemon groves onsite, it's a lovely setting with onsite parking.

Antico Borgo
We had a wonderful time here. Francesca and her mother Rosa couldn't do enough for us, they were both exceptional. The food that Rosa prepared was typical Sicilian and was absolutely the best I've ever tasted. They were also helpful in planning days out and suggested local places to visit. The hotel is within site of Etna and was only 10 miles or so away, it was erupting and flowing lava when we were there. There are lots of ancient archaeological sites around the area to see. Sicilian drivers are maniacal suicide jockeys, they will overtake you no matter what speed you are doing so you need to give them a wide berth, say 4 miles or so. On the main roads and Autostrada's they don't seen to follow speed limits, it makes you wonder if they think the limit is a minimum speed rather than a maximum speed. The streets are very narrow in most places so you need to be careful id you drive or not as the case may be. The Sicilians don't seem to regard od safety very highly - cross the road at your own peril!

It's perfectly located between Taormina and Etna surroundings to spend some days around the area. Anyway, the best part of the place are the hosts and the breakfast. Francesca was the kindest person we found around Sicily and made us feel super comfortable. THANK YOU!

Bellissimo! Un angolo incantato! Immerso in una splendida vegetazione antico casale ristrutturato con gusto. Camere confortevoli; noi siamo in 4 e la camera era in realtà composta da 2 stanze, ciascuna dotata di condizionatore. Ottima biancheria, tutto molto pulito e curato nei dettagli. La signora che ci ha accolto gentilissima. Colazione deliziosa: ho gradito soprattutto la frutta fresca a volontà e torte e marmellate fatte in casa! Peccato solo per il rumore dell'autostrada vicina. Lo consiglio vivamente

Sfeervolle en centraal gelegen agriturismo
Goede uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de oostkust van Sicilië (Syracuse, de Etna, Taormina etc.). Een rustig (kiezel)strand op 7 minuten rijden. Dorpjes met supermarkt etc dichtbij. Er komt wel een trein langs maar ik vond dat zelf niet storend. Relaxte sfeer, ontzettend vriendelijke en betrokken eigenaresse en medewerkers. Ruime en sfeervolle kamers. Heerlijk ontbijt. Het eten in het restaurant (open in het weekend en bij gelegenheid) is superlekker. Echt een aanrader voor wie rust wil combineren met cultuur en strand.

Don't miss it! Strongly recommend it!
Fantastic place! Wonderful hotel (main building is dated from 1.850 approx!). Great garden with nice view and amazing breakfast and dinner hall. Roon was spacious and had everything, a/c worked perfectly, breakfast was really good. The only downfall is the distance from Taormina (approx. 15') by car, but when I get back I will definitely book again. Thank you Azzurra (our host) for your hospitality, suggestions and kindness. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Bello e accogliente
Un'ottima scelta per chi vuole visitare la zona di Taormina stando lontano dal caos. La struttura è molto bella, immersa nel verde seppur non troppo lontana dall'autostrada. Camera molto pulita, dotata di aria condizionata e ventilatore, servirebbero solo un po' più di ripiani/appoggi. Un ricordo molto positivo sarà senz'altro il personale sempre molto disponibile, cordiale e sorridente. La colazione è veramente ottima, con torte e marmellate fatte in casa e prodotti di alta qualità. In definitiva un posto dove credo sia difficile trovarsi male.

Voor de laatste nacht op Sicilie hadden wij dit hotel uitgezocht. We konden er ivm de periode, eind oktober, niet meer eten savonds. Maar verder was het een prettige ervaring die wij zeker in gedachten houden voor ons volgende verblijf op sicilie waarbij we de oostkant van het eiland willen verkennen.

Ideales Hotel für Reisende mit PKW
Wir waren mit einem Mietwagen unterwegs und haben uns für ein Hotel mit guter Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto nach Taormina (10-20 Min. mit Auto) als auch zum Etna (45 Min.) entschieden. Zum Hotel ist anzumerken, dass dieses unsere Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen hat: Das malerisch, inmitten von Obst-, Wein- und Gemüsegärten gelegene Gebäude ist innen und außen sehr schön und hochwertig restauriert worden. Ebenso ist unser Zimmer in einem tadellosen Zustand gewesen. Die Lage in der Nähe von Autobahn und Bahnschienen hat uns nicht gestört - beides kann man nicht sehen, aber eine gewisse autobahnbedingte Geräuschkulisse ist trotzdem vorhanden. Der Service war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielfältig (Brot und Aufschnitt, selbstgemachte Marmelade, frischgebackenen Kuchen, Orangensaft zum Selbst pressen, Yoghurt etc.). Außerdem bot das Hotel ein äußerst schmackhaftes, mehrgängiges und dafür sehr günstiges Abendessen inkl. Wein an, dessen Zutaten zum großen Teil direkt aus dem hoteleigenen Anbau stammen. Des Weiteren bietet der Gastgeber von ihm geführte Touren am Etna an. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war das aus meiner Sicht beste, was ich bisher erlebt habe. Wir können das Antico Borgio deshalb uneingeschränkt empfehlen, besonders wenn man mit vorhandenem Auto eine gewisse Flexibilität hat. Wir würden dort jederzeit wieder einchecken.

Meraviglioso B&B vista Etna!
Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni all'Antico Borgo ed è stato comodissimo per visitare Taormina, Isola Bella e fare una splendida escursione sull'Etna! Le proprietarie davvero disponibilissime e ottime le colazioni a base di frutta fresca, marmellate fatte in case e torte di fichi appena sfornate... Assolutamente consigliabile!!!

Antica masseria finemente ristrutturata a 10 minuti da taormina. Ideale per chi vuole soggiornare lontano dal caos cittadino. Giusy e francesca contribuiscono a rendere ancora più piacevole il soggiorno grazie alla loro cucina e ai loro consigli!

Kurzurlaub an Ostseite von Sizilien; mit Mietauto unterwegs; Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Ätna, Catania und Siracusa besichtigt => das Hotel war der perfekte Standort für diese Ausflüge und für die Erholung danach

Støjende beliggenhed, men fin service
Antico Borgo ligger smukt med perfekt udsigt til vulkanen Etna, men også med A18 motorvejen (Catania-Messina) kun 200 meter væk til den ene side og en jernbane til den anden side. Der er MEGET trafikstøj (ørepropper kan anbefales til om natten). Værelsernes kvalitet fejler dog intet, rent og med fin service.
