Great location, 50 feet away from the main pedestrian areas, Corso Umberto. Comfortable beds. Rooms have been recently renovated. Very helpful and friendly front momdesstaff. Shower needs better cleaning and caulking. Water pressure and temperature is flaunting every minute whe.n Air-conditioning

In theory, this hotel could be great. Aside from the thin walls and uncomfortable beds, it’s in a great location and the staff is very kind and personable. Unfortunately, we had other, avoidable, issues that made our stay unbearable. Our room was infested with small flies and mosquitos that we spent an hour trying to get rid of because the window was left open by the cleaners late at night. The bathroom had black mold covering the walls and left us both coughing and feeling sick whilst in the room. When we requested to get a refund after the first night due to the health hazard and switch to another hotel, they said no but moved us to another room. This room was also infested with mosquitos and had mold on the curtains. Because of this, we had to sleep with masks on to prevent us from coughing while we were in the room. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone going to Taormina.

The property was good and the staff was excellent. Fabiana at front desk was hospitable, respectful and felt like she was family away from home. She has a great work ethic and was very helpful on all our questions. The think that we did not like about the hotel was that our shower floor was stained and looked pretty dirty. It felt very uncomfortable to take a shower in it.

A summer break in central Taormina
We booked four nights in the Junior Suite with seaview mid-August. We loved the central location, right in the centre of town but yet on the roof terrace by the pool it was peaceful and relaxing. The terrace has an amazing 360-degree view. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and a good breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Taormina.

We loved this hotel. Right by the Main Street they had a lovely and necessary roof top pool. The breakfast was average by Sicilian standards. The front desk staff especially Vincenzo was helpful and nice. He helped us arrange parking and an excursion to a beach club north of Taormina.

Hidden gem of central Taormina
This hotel was an excellent overall experience! Great friendly and helpful staff, magnificent central location, clean lovely room, and wonderful view, and good basic very convenient breakfast buffet.

The room temperature 27C (the entire building stays at that temperature) was too hot for sleeping so we had to open our door and the noise from outside kept us awake. We were also told we would be on the 3rd floor and when we arrived they had us on the 2nd floor. It is discouraging to be promised something and then switched.

Good choice in central Taormina
The hotel is situated right in the heart of Taormina town. It was well run and staff were efficient and friendly. Arrival with a car is a bit tricky as the road behind is narrow and a dead end. The food was good at breakfast . A simple buffet. Good bar in the evening lovely peaceful garden. Pool is very small but good just to cool off, roof deck area is nice.

The hotel is well located, very comfortable and has a small pool area on the roof with sun loungers and amazing views. Eating breakfast in the garden area was lovely, the breakfast food was good and the coffee was excellent. The only downside was there was very little storage in bathroom or bedroom, so nowhere to put out bathroom products and no wardrobe or drawers other than some hanging space on a rail and 2 tiny shelves. But it didn’t detract from the stay, it might have done if we were staying more than 2 nights.

This small hotel has the best location ever, nestled close to the centre of all the buzz but calm and quiet. The roof top area and pool is such a treat, an oasis in the heat, small but perfect. Sure, breakfast could be better but honestly? Who cares. It’s a fab wee hotel.

Ideal location just off Corso Umberto, close to shops and restaurants. Very nice rooftop pool in which to cool off, peaceful garden area and nice rooms. Pleasant and helpful staff. The light breakfast included was a little disorganised due to a lack of staff, but adequate, and there is always the delightful Mennula bakery just below the hotel

Lovely stay
We enjoyed our weeks stay at Il Piccolo Giardino. Our superior room had all we needed and the terrace afforded a lovely view of the sea and the Greek Theatre. Breakfasts were good and being able to sit in the quiet garden in the morning was excellent. The pool was a bonus with spectacular views across the town to the sea. The only downside for us in our stay was the noise that came from the restaurant on the steps by the hotel which played loud music from midday to well past midnight. Making a quiet glass of wine on the terrace not so quiet!

Was a good stay but the breakfast was a little cut back from past stays. We had a nice room though this year we went a little earlier and with the pool above us it was tough trying to sleep in with everyone moving the pool furniture around (dragging it across the floor). Though we will be back next year, our 5th time staying here, location is great staff are wonderful and it's nice to be welcomed back by the staff and that they remember us from the previous visits. Next time I think I will try and get the annex building and give that a try.
