Excellent service in lovely hotelPosted Jun 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed for 5 nights at this lovely hotel. Smallish room but with luxury bathroom with bath/shower and 2 basins. All very clean and quiet. Delicious breakfasts with lots of choice. The staff are very attentive but not at all stuffy. Very friendly in fact. The hotel is fairly well situated within 5minutes walk of the main shopping street and many restaurants. Small pool but heated and nice to swim in. Would definitely return and recommend. We had room at back with mountain view.

Pros: Great staff, great views
This is a great hotel for those wanting to be within walking distance of the centre of Taormina yet able to enjoy the benefits of a five star hotel. Terrific pool on the first floor and atmospheric rooftop bar. Ask for a room with a town view rather than the mountain. Staff were just brilliant. Highly recommended

SuperbPosted May 19, 2013
Excellent hotel & superbly situated in Taormina... Described as boutique, but not bijou. Stayed earlier this month & a little out of season. The hotel was quiet & it had a very relaxed feel. We were upgraded to a junior suite.... which obviously made the hotel stay more special... but that apart ... can higly recommend. The rooftop bar wasn't open but there are so many bars in town & very close by it didn't matter. There's are many eateries in town too... Of all tastes & prices, but as we arrived late on day one we decided to eat in the hotel.... Couldn't fault the food or the attentive service & very knowledgable wine waiter... But it was very pricey. All staff were very polite, pleasant & helpful. Great Location - not in the hustle & bustle of thevmain drag in Taormina when the day trippers are about... But Would definitely recommend & stay there again

Cons: Room was a bit small but Taormina has a premium on space
Couldn't fault it in any way. Excellent breakfasts, splendid view. Room was a little small but deceptive since it had a large bed and bathroom. Sea View Deluxe room.

Lovely view from the room and a good location- close to the centre but far enough away that noise not a problem. Professional staff.

Top class hotel in a fine locationPosted Oct 22, 2012
Pros: The new condition and facilities as well as location
Cons: lack of information re tours etc - you have to go to the nearby tourist office or travel agents.
Location: just perfect
This is a fine modern high class hotel. We had dinner in another more established 5 star hotel and while it was fine this hotel is more relaxed. Views, facilities and location are superb and staff very helpful and friendly. No hesitation in recommending it as one of the best I have ever stayed in. Breakfast while limited is absolutely fine.

Nothing but good things to say. Loved our brief stay there. Pool is amazing - overlooking scenic Taormina.
Great Hotel!Posted Oct 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel Imperiale in Taormina was fantastic. Its location was perfect. We booked our own car and getting in and out of the city was pretty easy from the hotel. A tip when booking l, if you are renting a car is to pay for the 25 eros a day for valet parking It is worth it! Book ahead because there is a limited space. The hotel was located up high and the views were really spectacular. We were away from the noise and confusion, but still only a 5 minute walk from the center of town . The hotel was extremely clean. We had a lovely view of Teatro Greco and the surrounding sea below. The hotel was very quiet at night and we couldn't hear the streets nor any noise from the neighboring rooms. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They gave excellent suggestions from restaurnts to sightseeing. Take advantage of going to the Lido Caparena, which is a beach down below. The water is absolutely clean and really a very pretty pebbled beach. The cost was fantastic: for 8 eros each you got a towel, a cabin, chair and umbrella, plus shuttle service to and fro. Our bed was very comfortable, the decor was modern and very eye pleasing. The complimentary continental breakfast in the morning is awesome. The flat screened TV offered lots of channels you could play in English, which is a plus when you want to hear a bit of home! The only complaint we would have is we wish the lighting by the bed was a bit brighter for reading. We would highly recommend this hotel.
