“Good location”

The hotel is ideally situated for visiting Taormina as the cable car is a five-minute walk away. Parking is awkward as the hotel has a limited number of spaces available at what seemed to be a fairly expensive rate. Other than that, parking is on the road side in the Sicilian manner! The rooms were clean and comfortable but small for a four star hotel. The pool area was clean with plenty of sunbeds but pool-side towels are not provided.

“Not a 4 star, but pretty good for other reasons”

As this hotel is a little less pricey, it fit our criteria pretty well. The hotel itself is trying to be 4 but is really 3 in particular the rooms, breakfast and pool area, however staff were really friendly and helpful which made it ok. What was great about this was the location - really near all the beaches in particular Isola Bella which is beautiful. The cable car up to the town Taormina is right round the corner. The local restaurants were absolutely fab (def don't eat in hotel).

“Not impressed”

Should not be a 4* hotel. Skytv did not work and they made no effort to fix it. Breakfast was extremely poor. Dinner only a fixed menu available but it showed an a la carte as well. Safe didn't work and in 7 days no-one came to fix it.
