Beautiful terracePosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: The concierge helped us with the luggage.
Cons: There are long stairs to reach the elevator. But if you have problems with stairs, don't go to Taormina. You have to climb stairs everywhere.
The hotel is superbly located, a few meters from the main street, and a few steps from the funicular that takes you to the beach. We had a beautiful terrace, big, with a wonderful sea view. The room was big and confortable.

Perfect locationPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Location, staff and pool area (small but adequate)
Cons: The hotel could do with a bit of modernisation. Just felt a bit 50's x
Location: The main town is 2 minutes away and really beautiful. Walk to the end (15 mins max) to see mount Etna. The ancient theatre is a must !
My 6 year old daughter and I have just spent 3 nights here. While the hotel is rather dated, the staff, cleanliness, outdoor pool and perfect location make up for it. The hotel is just across the road from the bubble lift to the beach (take beach shoes as the beach is pebbled and quite painful without shoes) a 2 minute walk to the beautiful old streets of the town and 2 minutes in the opposite direction to the bus station. I would highly recommend this hotel :-)

Character,location,wonderful sea views.Posted May 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
A most interesting hotel converted from a rambling Mansion some 40 or 50 years ago,it is quietly situated a short walk from the town centre with garage parking nearbye,It steps up the hillside with large private balconies and has a delightful sunny breakfast terrace planted with flowers and olive trees ,all having wonderful views over the coast and ,across the sea,to Italy.Decor is a little 'faded glory' but none the worse for that and is complimented by good, very friendly, old fashioned service.Rooms are quite spacious with en-suite facilities again, somewhat dated, but comfortable and charming.

Fabulous HotelPosted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Villa Fiorita was a great hotel, a tiny little place built into the rocks. It has a very 80s feel and look, and lots of stairs, this place isn't really suitable for people with lower limb disabilities as the elevator is tiny and up a couple flights of stairs. But the room was spacious and had an amazing view of the ocean and coast line. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Where the hotel is situated is a short walk from the main strip so it's away from the crowds and noise. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Fantastic views over coast and quiet locationPosted Jun 11, 2013
Pros: Fantastic views, plenty of garden terraces and a nice swimming pool
Cons: No wifi when this was stated on Expedia - this needs correcting
Location: quiter part of Taormina yet very convenient for the centre of town
The hotel was in a good location and was clean and comfortable if a little old fashioned. The pool was a good size and there was lots of outdoor space to enjoy the sunshine and fantastic views over the sea. The facilities were only breakfast though, which was adequate. There was a bar but it was never staffed. However, there were very many steps before you got to the lift though. This wasn't much of a problem for us with a suitcase but would be very difficult for older guests - there could be a warning about this. Also, although Expedia said there was free wifi this was not the case. There was one computer with internet access in a side room - this should be ammended on Expedia.

Friendly hotel close to the town centre.Posted Mar 10, 2013
Pros: Helpful staff.
Location: Good location, near the old town centre.
The layout of the hotel is interesting, with a variety of levels and furnished landings. It is located just off-centre in Taormina, but still close to the main sights. The staff were friendly and helpful. I went off-season so it was very quiet (some hotels in the town were actually closed).
