Super friendly and well informed front desk host . Hot breakfast with real eggs and good coffee. Clean rooms with everything you need. Restaurants & Main Street a short walk or the hotel has bikes. Best grocery store right next store with ready to eat food and anything else you might need. 3 star for property condition because it is old.

Fine for one quick stop over night. Lots of food debris on carpet from previous guests and bathroom sink clogged. Bed was comfortable but pretty wobbly. staff were nice and room was in general okay enough.

The bed was comfortable and the shower provided a nice stream. The footsteps of our upstairs neighbors were fairly loud, so I'd advocate staying on the second floor for a quieter experience. The television wouldn't turn on (remote control?) and the dead gnats around the bathroom lighting were a little disturbing.

Great Value for the Price
For the price I paid, I felt it was a great value. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was decent, and housekeeping responded quickly when I needed some kleenex.

Room was clean and dated which I expected given the price paid. The breakfast was impossible to access as the area was small accommodating only a few people. We tried to enter three times about 20 minutes apart and settled for in room coffee. Returned to try one more time and everything was empty, I mean everything! 😟

We have stayed here several time when in town visiting family. Always nice friendly staff, clean and easy to get to downtown Winthrop and surrounding areas

The room is older and not cozy, they obviously decided to save on interior designer. Office and breakfast hours are not very convenient. Breakfast is ok though, and the lobby/dining area is nicely furnished. We also enjoyed some DVD movies provided. But I doubt that we’ll stay here again.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Could have used a little de-icer or mats of some sort around that area. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

TV didn't work, and door to room was super hard to open and close. Overall, clean and mostly comfortable, mattresses could be newer, but room was warm, dry and clean.

A good value Mom & Pop older hotel
This older hotel is reasonably priced in a good location. Cons: no wifi despite what they say; sounds like it is normally busted/doesn't work so count on using your phone as a hotspot. Pros: 1) a good free breakfast with real scrambled eggs, biscuits, toast, waffles, sausages, etc., 2) free parking, 3) good location near gas station and pizza place, 4) free parking, 5) good shower water pressure with plenty of hot water, 6) hot tub, 7) polite and professional front desk staff.
