The hotel wasn't the worst I've been to, but not the best. I was at a convention in Statesboro and had to choose a hotel from the town over, here. It wasn't the dirtiest, but not really nice. The water pressure was horrible in the shower. Many of the electrical sockets didn't work. It didn't come with a hair dryer. The continental breakfast was slim, to the point where you might as well not go. It had a few cheap pastries, bread wrapped in saran wrap, and some coffee. No eggs, no waffles, not even fruit. The town as a whole has not much around, so if you're trying to find a hotel outside of Statesboro, I recommend avoiding Metter.

Dissatisfied CustomerPosted Oct 11, 2011
I would not reccomend this hotel to any one. The room was not clean, mold growing in the tub tile floor area, towel and hanging racks falling off the wall, beds not Comfortable, ice machines did not work and the Continental breakfast they did not offer much at all.

Would stay there again.Posted Oct 11, 2011
We stayed in Metter because all the hotels were booked in Statesboro. The location was convenient to 16 and the hotel was sufficient.

lame breakfast, clean roomsPosted Dec 23, 2010
The Hotel is showing its age but was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The arrangement of the room was convenient, the furnace was fairly quiet. TV reception was fuzzy on several channels. The breakfast was one of the most lame ones I've had in a long time. By 8:30 am there was a little gravy in the bottom of the crock pot with no meat (was only slightly warm). That was the closest thing to hot and/or protein in the place.
