I will definitely be back here!

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Fantastic service!
Cons: they didn't have hot teas. No tea bags at all?!
Location: Right across from the US Embassy.
Breakfast every morning was fantastic! Service was phenomenal! Checkout 1 pm. Front desk had safes for our valuables. Cleaning crew rearranged/cleaned and reorganized all our stuff everyday when we got back! Taxis are a scam you need to watch out for. All Hotels scare you about how dangerous taxis are and get you to spend 10 fold on private cars. There are apps to check legit-ness of taxis and you have to watch out that the metering isn't on "tourist" mode.

CityWok... & don't use their taxi service.

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: Lobby was nice, room was efficient.
Cons: Get ride of tourist taxi service and just call for people. Always ensure good Internet service.
Location: Location is central and everything is right around this. Watch out a couple of streets down is a gay district and a series of porn shops.
Internet was down after a big storm. Made the experience unbearable. I know not their fault. Went to starbucks near by instead. Have to ask for an Iron and hair dryer from the front desk this is ok, but no ironing board. Almost impossible to iron anything with out the board. Watch out behind the desk it's extremely dirty. I know this because I let my sleeve of my shirt go back there while I was ironing and it came out covered in dust. (Don't use their taxi service) Wanted to get a taxi, because it was raining really hard, to a hotel just across the street. They only work with Tourist taxi which means the cost was 120$ which is $10 usd. to cross the street. All taxi's are around 22$ about $1 usd for the same ride if you can flag them down. I mostly used UBER to get around it was 50$ to go anywhere. And 114$ to get to the airport from this hotel ($8.45usd). It was cheaper to get to the airport across town than to take a tourist taxi across the street. (Don't use any hotels taxi service. If you do tell them no way and they will reduce the cost. They say it's safer and they drive better but no, everyone drives very respectfully in Mexico City, no one is intentionally trying to hit you.) They have a "free" shuttle if you want to go 3 km around the hotel but you must tell them in the morning your plans. But I just checked in I couldn't tell them my plans in the morning.

Not very nice experience

Posted Jun 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
I choose this hotel basically for location, but I was expecting a better service, the room was not ready when I arrived, we have to wait 4 hrs, and then the next morning the breakfast was separated, people like me that we reserved with hotels.com we were not allowed to have a full breakfast, just the people who were direct clients with the hotel...I never comeback to this hotel..bad experience..

Good Hotel

Don't expect a luxury hotel. It's very basic but for a couple of nights perfect. Great location. The only negative is that the WIFI is pretty bad. Very slow. Also the TV programming sucks. Which is normal for Mexican hotels
