Nice & secure location
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: Budget hotel
Cons: Internet speed should be improved. Its speed is only 15mbps. Hotel should improve the speed faster.
Location: Lot of eating places are there and transportation is good.
Good and Economical hotel for budget conscious people. Location is good and secure. Hotel staff is co-operative. Little problem for English speaking peoples. Internet speed is terrible and if you are for business purpose in Mexico, you need to consider this. You need to sit in the Hotel lobby to get connected to the Internet. In room, internet speed is terribly slow.

Great Hotel

Amazing experience, the hotel is in a great area, close to the monument of Revolution and close to the touristic areas, as well from the most important street o Mexico City (Insurgentes). Love the place and I recommend the place any time.

All about location and price
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: the price, location and quality ratio
Cons: no shampoo and no business center
Location: exceptional location, quiet and safe
This is a pleasant older hotel with extra clean and affordable rooms considering you are two blocks away from the heart of Reforma. The cheaper rooms have an inside view which means a window that lets light and air in but no sights of the city. The pool area is small but great and well kept. The bellboys and concierge are friendly and will bend over backwards to get your luggage up to your room, deliver an iron, secure taxi or recommend a restaurant or sights to see. The only negative I found is that they do not give you shampoo, however you do get bottled water daily. Also they do not have a business center operating, there is a space to the right for one upon entering the lobby but it is not operational. Wifi is good, towels clean... I did not eat at the restaurant.

Very nice hotel for the price, great location

This hotel is right around the corner from the Monument to the Revolution on the Paseo de la Reforma. We just spent the night in Mexico City, and went out on the Reforma to look for a restaurant, and were absolutely stunned by this beautiful monument. The hotel is very inexpensive, but clean and has everything you need. The location is outstanding. It is a formerly quite nice hotel, but has been kept up reasonably well and the staff was very helpful.

Good budget hotel.

I stayed for 8 nights and chose this hotel because of its location (almost next to Reforma and 15 minute walk to Centro) and because rooms have safe deposit boxes. The room size is OK for one person but may be a bit small for 2 persons. That my room's windows did not face the street was not a problem, since I used the room just to get a good night's sleep.

Filthy and noisy
Posted Jan 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
There was hair in the bed, stains on the sheets, and a toilet that barely flushed. The walls were thin and the entire floor seemed to be partying. We hardly slept. The service wasn't bad, though be aware that if you ask them to call you a cab, you get a private car and pay the price. Great location.

Good Stay For The Price
Posted Jan 19, 2012
Pros: Roof Top Pool
Cons: No control of AC
Location: Very convenient.
Excellent hotel stay for the price - nothing special, but nothing to complain about. Rooftop pool was very cold even on a warm September Sunny day. But pool was clean and view was good. Location convenient. Hotel has centrally controlled AC which maintained an adequate temperature.
